On May 29th, Team Tetrapod is set to unveil the Nintendo Switch version of the supernatural mystery adventure game, Staffer Case: A Supernatural Mystery Adventure. If you’re in Japan, you can already pre-order a physical copy of the game from retailers like Amazon.
In the Switch edition, you’ll find Japanese audio options, and it also lets you enjoy the standalone game “Staffer Reborn” that can be played on PC through Steam as well.
Initially released in Early Access on Steam for PCs on March 10, 2023, the game titled “Staffer Case: A Supernatural Mystery Adventure” had its official launch on April 30, 2023.

Five Full Cases and Two Substories
Unravel five mysteries steeped in supernatural elements! Navigate through two captivating subplots, shedding light on each character’s past and revealing their unique traits!
- Case 1: Backstage – Notrick, an assistant from a small town detective agency, receives a letter from the Pheno-mana Bureau and heads off to London.
- Case 2: Pet Shop – Creechers: the mutated results of Pheno-mana. An incident occurs at a creecher breeding facility.
- Case 3: The Wizard’s Room – Staff: tools that exist with mysterious powers. The body of a famous staff collector was found sliced in half, vertically.
- Case 4: Mistletoe – Oppenheimer: the threat level applied to Pheno-mana as dangerous as atomic bombs. In the basement of the Bureau lies a facility that houses these Oppenheimers.
- Case 5: ??? – Present events, past events, and the truth that lies beyond…

The game, titled “Staffer Reborn,” is a thrilling blend of supernatural powers and logical reasoning, set against the backdrop of 1960s America. In a peculiar turn of events, a Lieutenant, possessing an extraordinary gift to bring back the dead, finds himself on the brink of his natural end – old age. Yet, his unique power thwarts this inevitable demise, plunging him into a loop where his aged state kills him every quarter-hour. The task falls upon the players to assume the role of the detective, delve into the Lieutenant’s powers, and aid him in finding everlasting peace.
