Initially, its launch was fraught with bugs that necessitated numerous updates, some of which unfortunately exacerbated existing issues. However, despite these initial setbacks, it has become an overwhelming hit among fans.
As reported by game developer GSC Game World, the pre-sales of STALKER 2 have already generated profits. Moreover, this anticipated title has been shortlisted for three Steam Awards by enthusiastic fans.

Before the New Year, we would like to share our plans for the year 2025:
- We will continue to update S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 in the upcoming year.
- We will be ready to share the content roadmap for the game at the beginning of 2025.
- The next-gen patch for the console versions of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy will be released next year. We know you’ve asked us to update the PC versions of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, and we also plan to do that. Keep an eye on our social media so you don’t miss the exact dates.

Following its initial release, STALKER 2 quickly amassed an enthusiastic and understanding fanbase after selling more than a million units in just the first three days.
Despite the disrupted development process due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Game Studio Creators (GSC) has remained committed to enhancing the gaming experience.
Supporters have expressed their admiration and ongoing loyalty, while GSC hints at a future holiday event set to be revealed soon.
Although STALKER 2 wasn’t recognized at this year’s Game Awards, our team at TopMob has still honored it by listing it among the top horror games of the year.
