From the original trilogy that gripped me in its eerie, post-apocalyptic world, to the long-awaited sequel, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. So, imagine my delight when GSC Game World announced updates for both games next year!
Game studio GSC Game World has revealed that they plan to roll out updates for both “Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl” and “Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy” next year. For “Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy,” this includes a next-generation upgrade, while “Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl” will receive several bug fixes. Additionally, they plan to unveil their update content roadmap for “Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl” at the start of the upcoming year.

Yesterday marked an exciting day for me as a fan, with the launch of a significant update 1.1 for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl! The team has been tirelessly working since its release to enhance your gaming experience over the festive season. I sincerely hope that many fellow enthusiasts like myself will be able to immerse themselves in the captivating world of STALKER 2 during the holidays, whether starting anew, continuing a journey or completing the game!
Before the New Year, we would like to share our plans for the year 2025:
- We will continue to update S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 in the upcoming year.
- We will be ready to share the content roadmap for the game at the beginning of 2025.
- The next-gen patch for the console versions of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy will be released next year.
