Stalker 2 – Find The Artifact In The Anomalous Field | Heart of Chornobyl

As an avid gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that navigating through the treacherous lands of Chernobyl in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been quite the adventure so far. The tutorial might be a bit misleading when it comes to finding the elusive Artifact in the Anomalous Field, but fear not! I’ve managed to crack the code and share some insights that will make your journey smoother.

The task to find an Artifact in the Anomalous Field is part of the tutorial in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, but it can be a tad trickier than it should be.

The tutorial doesn’t fully explain some of the quirks of finding the Artifact. For example, it doesn’t appear unless you’re holding the right tool when you approach it. Besides that, some glitches prevent it from appearing at all!

In this walkthrough, we’ll show you all the necessary steps to locate your initial Artifact within the Anomalous Field during the introductory phase. We’ll also provide tips on possible solutions to address any issues that might prevent its appearance due to bugs.

Find The Artifact In The Anomalous Field | Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

In the game, they refer to an intriguing concept called the Anomalous Field. But once you step out of the bunker for the first time, you’ll find it easily – just look for those vibrant, yellow, bubbling puddles nearby!

Whenever you find the yellow pools, grab your Detecting Device and direct it towards them. As you navigate through the field, the device will emit sounds that grow faster as you approach the concealed Treasure more closely.

In order for the Artifact to become visible, having the Echo Detector is essential. If you’re not currently holding it, the Artifact will remain unseen.

Continue moving about with your Echo Detector, and a Slug Artifact will appear before you. Swiftly pick it up once it’s visible, and you’ll complete this goal!

However, some players report that the Slug doesn’t appear at all for them. If this happens to you, you should try to restart the game and your PC/console. It’ll hopefully pop up properly once you load back in.

Another option that some PC gamers have found effective is adjusting the graphics settings to a different preset. Changing it to ‘High’ appears to be particularly helpful, although this might pose a challenge for computers with less power. However, keep in mind that this is only a temporary solution; you can always revert the settings to your preferred choice once you’ve captured the Slug.

Well, here’s the lowdown from my gaming perspective: You just gotta grasp these basics to bag your first Artifact within the Anomalous Field at the onset of Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl. It might seem a breeze, but there are some technical glitches right now that I hope get squashed soon with an update. Fingers crossed!
