The game titled “Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl” has managed to retain its fanbase due to its consistent improvement over time. Despite facing technical issues during launch, the game has undergone numerous updates to rectify bugs and include new features. Notably, a significant revamp occurred earlier this month, which significantly altered the combat NPCs and balanced the game. Currently, the developers at GSC Game World are still perfecting and tweaking “Stalker 2” with their latest update, Version 1.4.2. This minor upgrade may seem insignificant, but it includes crucial bug fixes and additional improvements.
After the major changes introduced in Update 1.4, Stalker 2 has received one adjustment patch so far to iron out issues. The 1.4.1 Hotfix, released shortly after the update, primarily addressed critical bugs that were causing crashes. Now, Update 1.4.2 is further refining the gameplay overhaul by making more balance adjustments and fixing additional bugs.
Today’s update for Stalker 2 focuses on another round of balance adjustments, specifically reducing the armor-piercing multiplier for 9×18 ammo. Players will appreciate this tweak as well as the array of bug fixes included. For instance, camera movement sensitivity issues have now been addressed and mutants should no longer exhibit unexpected twitching during investigations. Although it’s a minor improvement, update 1.4.2 promises to enhance the overall gaming experience in Stalker 2.
