Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Walkthrough (Part 9) – Road to Prypiat (Strelok Path, Kaymanov Ending)

In this walkthrough for Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, we’ll guide you through the pivotal missions: Subtle Matter, Dangerous Liaisons, Escape From the Cage, and The Boundary. These are the key missions that shape your journey towards one of several possible conclusions. We’re following the Spark/Strelok Path with a goal to achieve the Kaymanov Ending, meaning some critical choices will be made during these preceding missions as we approach Prypiat.

00:01 – Intro

Subtle Matter

00:03 – Most of the bridges are out, so this is one viable path to get to the Burnt Forest

07:00 – After dealing with the Poltergeist, use the code 1995 to unlock the door

08:20 – Back away after activating the antenna

10:48 – As a fan, I find no definitive approach to handle the trio of Burer mutants. My best advice would be to exercise patience and maintain a safe distance from any rogue weaponry.

15:30 – Cutscene (this sets us down the ending path, we’ll be going for the Kaymanov Ending)

16:00 – How you respond to Strider doesn’t change the ending

20:35 – How you respond to Scar does change your end path, we select “Life is for the living.”

21:45 – We will be leaving the facility without alerting security as it’s an optional objective

24:20 indicates the code for the door. If you haven’t turned on the power yet, you’ll find the switch in the room adjoining this heavy door.

25:34 – Grab the hidden RPG-7U if you want

28:20 – Grab the Exosuit blueprint (All-Titanium Components) if you want

31:24 – Grab the Old Padlock Key if you want to snag an extra Exoskeleton suit in this location

Dangerous Liaisons

34:25 – We’ll be going into the TCP with a stealthy approach (Spark Path)

40:20 – Mask-1 Helmet located here

41:00 – Cutscene (speaking with Strelok)

43:00 – A cutscene occurs (making another crucial choice, this time opting for the conclusion associated with Kaymanov. We’ll choose accordingly.)

45:00 – Choose the “Escape” option if you want to follow our guide and go for the Kaymanov ending

Escape From the Cage

At the 49 minute and 35 second mark, approach the individual and provide them with the Cell Key. If you do so, they will eventually give you a code (8506), which unlocks a storage facility located nearby.

51:18 – Stealth can be a little buggy going through here so just do your best

52:30 – Grab your equipment here (Taking Back What’s Mine side mission)

52:35 – Here is where you input that code from before (8506)

54:08 – You can fight if you want, but it’s easier to just sprint past everyone

The Boundary

59:55 – After dealing with the waves of enemies, go chat with our old pal Richter

1:08:50 – Talking with Spirit

1:14:15 – Grabbing the modified scanner from the Spark bunker

1:14:27 – You have the option to either hand over the scanner or utilize it. We’ll opt for returning the scanner because it’s more convenient for entering Prypiat.

1:17:23 – Time to head to Prypiat
