While you can utilize containers for height advantage and attack from a secure distance, luck may not be on your side if you run into one in the open fields. Here’s what to do when that happens:

1. Identify the Pseudogiant’s weak spots – These are usually found in areas such as its eyes or joints.
2. Find cover and observe – Use the environment to hide and study the Pseudogiant’s movements, looking for an opportunity to strike.
3. Attack from a safe distance – Once you have a clear shot, take it! Use ranged weapons like bows or guns to deal damage without putting yourself in danger.
4. Maneuver carefully – If necessary, move around the battlefield to avoid incoming attacks and find new opportunities to attack the Pseudogiant’s weak spots.
5. Use environmental objects – Utilize rocks, trees, or other large objects as cover while attacking or moving between positions.

A Pseudogiant has three main attacks that it’ll use against players.

  • Shoulder Charge: When at a distance, the Pseudogiant will shoulder charge to quickly close the distance to the player, knocking them down if they get hit.
  • Double Slam: The mutant will launch two sets of punches, even if you dodge the first one.
  • Ground Pound (Shockwave): Pseudogiant will jump into the air and slam its arms and body into the ground, which will knock back players if they’re caught in the attack. The shockwave produced by its force can also go through walls and objects.

Best Weapons & Strategies to Use Against a Pseudogiant

In the game Stalker 2, the most effective tool for combating a Pseudogiant is undeniably the RPG-7U Rocket Launcher. This weapon boasts impressive destructive capabilities and is particularly useful against the Pseudogiant due to its slow movement speed compared to a Chimera.

In a tactical situation, pairing a high-precision weapon such as the Gauss Gun and a heavy-hitting one like the Saiga D-12 can prove incredibly lethal. Initiate the engagement by taking out a couple of shots from the sniper rifle to diminish the mutant’s health.
