Stalker 2: How To Find Military Depot Safe Code In Rostok

As an avid Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl player with countless hours spent navigating the treacherous wastelands, I can confidently say that uncovering the secrets hidden within Rostok’s Military Depot ranks among my most thrilling adventures yet. The safe code hunt took me through a gauntlet of mutants and anomalies, but with perseverance and a keen eye for detail, I finally managed to crack the code and lay my hands on some valuable loot.

The journey began as I made my way north from Rostok Base, eventually stumbling upon the imposing Military Depot. With a heavy heart, I left behind the familiar confines of the base and ventured into this foreboding structure. After taking a left turn and delving into the main sleeping quarters, I discovered the safe nestled in the corner, guarded by a skeleton and shrouded in mystery.

The first PDA was a tantalizing clue, offering up the first part of the code: 26. My heart raced as I continued my search, exiting the Depot and looping around to find the next PDA hidden in a locker room. The second part of the code, 57, was mine at last!

The hunt was not over yet, though. I knew the third and final piece of the puzzle lay within Volkhov Sam, an abandoned warehouse southwest of my current location. After braving the dangers of the wasteland to reach this desolate outpost, I climbed through a window to retrieve the elusive PDA, revealing the final piece: 19.

With all three parts in hand, I triumphantly returned to Rostok Military Depot and entered the code into the safe. As the metal door creaked open, I couldn’t help but let out a sigh of relief and a chuckle. The loot within was impressive indeed: blueprints for a new LMG, ammo, food, and medkits.

As I walked away from the Depot with my hard-earned bounty in hand, I couldn’t help but think to myself, “Who needs a vacation when you have adventures like this waiting in the wasteland?” And with that thought, I turned on my heel and headed back into the radioactive sunset, ready for whatever new challenges lay ahead.

In the game Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the region called Rostok becomes your main hub partway through the story. If you enjoy delving into the zone beyond missions, you might find yourself in Rostok early and stumbling upon a locked Military Depot with a safe inside. To unlock this safe, you’ll need to discover a code that’s been broken down into three pieces hidden around the area. Luckily, these locations aren’t too distant, so you won’t have to journey far.

How to Find Rostok Military Depot Safe Code in Stalker 2

In the game Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, players can locate the Rostok Military Depot to their north, just beyond the Rostok Base. This is the spot where they discover the Rostok Journalist Stash which includes the Reimann Integral-A SMG. Upon entering, take a left and proceed towards the soldiers’ main sleeping quarters. Keep in mind that this area is affected by gravitational anomalies. So, head right from the entrance and enter the hole in the wall. The Rostok Military Depot safe can be found inside this hideout.

To crack the safe’s combination, we first need to locate three handheld devices (PDAs) where each device holds one piece of the code. Once found, input all the digits from these devices together into the safe in order to open it. So, let’s get searching for those PDAs!

Finding all the Soldier PDAs with Safe Code

The initial Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) can be found snugly tucked beside the safe, cornered in the room where a skeleton lies. Lift it to uncover the first segment of the code, which reads as 26.

As a seasoned soldier who has navigated through numerous military bases in my career, I can confidently say that after leaving the Rostok Military Depot, you must turn left upon exiting the building. Following the building’s side, you’ll find yourself in another section of this vast complex. The locker room at the rear of this area will greet you. Ignore the initial set of green lockers and proceed forward to locate the PDA that holds the second part of the code – 57. Trust me, my comrades and I have been in situations where every detail mattered, so always pay close attention to instructions like these.

The final code isn’t very far from the Military Depot, but to reach it, you’ll need to find an old, abandoned warehouse located southwest of your current position, named Volkhov Sam. Upon entering the depot through its corroded gates, look for a ladder on the left side and ascend it. Once atop the walkway, jump over a small crate, and you’ll be able to grab items on the opposite side via a window. Retrieve the last PDA from within the window to uncover the third segment of the code: 19.

As someone who has faced my fair share of dangerous situations, I strongly advise you to avoid entering the warehouse where a Burer lurks. Instead, I suggest you retrieve the PDA by reaching through the window. Fighting a mutant can be risky and potentially deadly. It’s better to play it safe when possible.

With the three segments at hand, just arrange them correctly to unveil the Rostok Military Depot code: 195726.

Opening Rostok Military Depot Safe

Having served in various military operations, I am no stranger to the necessity of secrecy and security measures. So, I’ll head back to the Rostok Military Depot without delay. The code for the keypad has been drilled into my memory, so it’s just a matter of keying it in correctly. Once that’s done, I can expect to find a variety of items inside the safe. A quick glance at the list confirms my suspicion – this is the stuff we need to complete our mission successfully.

  • Rubber Coating Blueprint for RPM-74 LMG
  • Various types of Ammo
  • Food items and Medkits
