In STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, The Zone is filled with numerous enigmas waiting to be solved. This forsaken land teems with mutants, strange anomalies, and failed experiments. As players traverse the game world, they’ll encounter artifacts that can be discovered using Detectors. These artifacts are either kept for personal use or sold for a decent amount of money, often quite high.
As a gamer, one of the familiar items I often come across and might be tasked to gather is the Horn. Just like other artifacts, the Horn can appear in various spots worldwide, though there are certain hotspots where you can consistently find them. Sometimes, these Horns end up with vendors or become part of my character’s inventory as a unique accessory. Regardless, it’s essential to keep an eye out for this valuable trinket, especially during the initial stages of the game, where it appears most frequently.
Where To Find A Horn Artifact
Normally, the Horn artifact tends to show up near or close to areas with acid irregularities, which are frequently discovered in craters and highly radioactive locations. However, an exception to this rule is The Lesser Zone, where a Horn artifact can be found in proximity to the excavation site at the Eastern Checkpoint by Zalissya, with no surrounding anomalies present – despite that, enemy outlaws may pose a problem. Another dependable location for the artifact’s appearance is the acid pool located in the northeastern part of the Cement Factory region, bordering the Cooling Towers.
In the vicinity of Cordon’s village, close to The Lesser Zone, you might often discover a Horn artifact within a nearby cave. This location is relatively straightforward as it doesn’t demand much anomaly evasion, making it one of the simpler artifacts for players to obtain in the game.
What To Do With A Horn Artifact
When armed, the Horn relic provides limited chemical shielding while causing minimal radiation harm, making it beneficial primarily when encountering more acid irregularities. A more practical choice is to trade this and other common relics for vouchers, which can be used to enhance weapons, armor, and ammo supplies.
In general, many suppliers offer fair prices for artifacts, and you tend to receive higher value from regular vendors or bar owners compared to weapons experts. However, Ragman in Rostok stands out as an exception since he deals with specialist gear but doesn’t pay a high price for common artifacts. If you chat with Boozer in Slag Heap, there’s a chance you might find the Horn artifact. Recovering this item will earn you the highest possible reward of approximately 4,000 coupons.
