Stalker 2: Should YouUnhealthy Competition Walkthrough

As a seasoned Stalker, I’ve seen it all – from mutants to bandits, and now, unhealthy competition among traders. Sidorovich, a familiar face in the Zone, is dealing with his associate Wisp causing trouble by poaching clients and contacting suppliers behind his back. This sets off the “Unhealthy Competition” side mission, and I’m on the hunt for Wisp at the Pig Farm.

Navigating through the Cordon region, I encountered a group of Fleshes, which, let me tell you, is never a pleasant encounter! But after taking them out swiftly and clearing the area, I found Wisp’s body in a barn at the farm. A quick loot later, I had his PDA with valuable information about a new trader setting up shop in Cordon.

After filling Sidorovich in on the situation, he ordered me to visit this new trader and put an end to their business before it even begins. Before heading out to the tunnels, I made a pit stop at Wisp’s stash along the way for a new High Capacity AR416 Mag attachment – always good to have more ammo!

Reaching the tunnels, I found myself facing a fork in the road: kill the traders or spare them. As someone who’s been through countless life-threatening situations in the Zone, I’ve learned that sometimes it pays off to take the ethical route. So, holstering my weapons before approaching the traders, I started a conversation with their leader, Swedish.

After warning him of Sidorovich’s intentions and letting him know about the attempted takeover, Swedish thanked me for the heads-up, but he wasn’t swayed easily. However, when I encountered Sidorovich’s men in the tunnel, I had to fight them off to protect the traders. After taking out the men, Swedish once again thanked me for saving them and rewarded me with some Coupons.

Though I forfeited the quest reward that Sidorovich offered, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment knowing that I made the right call in this situation. And hey, sometimes it’s not always about the rewards – sometimes, it’s about doing what’s right! Now, off to explore more of the Zone and see what other challenges lie ahead… just hope they serve me some decent Strelok stew at Rookie Village!

In the game “Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl,” the character Sidorovich reappears and finds himself in a predicament due to his associate, Wisp, attempting to undermine his business by stealing clients and secretly contacting suppliers without Sidorovich’s knowledge. This triggers the side mission called “Unhealthy Competition.” During this mission, you’ll need to locate Wisp at the Pig Farm, discover his motives, and take decisive action against him using deadly force if necessary.

Finding Wisp at the Pig Farm

Initially, our focus should be on locating Wisp, who is often found near the Pig Farm within the Cordon region. Head towards the farm, and you’ll come across a band of Fleshes attempting to assault you. Aim for a strategic takedown of them all simultaneously to ensure the area is completely safe.

After everything is made clear, step inside the barn through the central open door. You’ll notice Wisp’s body positioned towards the right side. Search his body to retrieve Wisp’s PDA, containing details about a new trader establishing a business in Cordon. The PDA will also reveal the location of Wisp’s hidden cache.

In the near future, Sidorovich will reach out to Skif to inquire about the current state of affairs regarding the Wisp. Once apprised, Sidorovich will instruct Skif to pay a visit to this new trader and halt his operations before they start. Prior to engaging the trader underground, don’t forget to swing by Wisp’s cache en route to obtain a fresh High Capacity AR416 Mag attachment.

Should You Save the Traders Or Kill Them For Sidorovich?

Now, make your way towards the tunnels where you’ll encounter merchants. In this instance, players will face two distinct choices. You can choose to eliminate the traders immediately to secure your reward and gratitude from Sidorovich, or take the moral high ground by sparing their lives, but accept a lesser reward instead.

Killing the Traders

Without exchanging words, players could directly attack the merchants.

After eliminating both Swedish and his followers, Sidorovich will reach out to Skif, expressing gratitude for his actions, and subsequently reward him with some Coupons.

Saving the Traders

The second possibility is that players can sheathe their weapons prior to engaging traders in the tunnel to initiate a discussion with their leader, Swedish. You will then alert him of Sidorovich’s intentions to drive them out of town, or worse, harm them if they persist with business in Cordon. Although Swedish remains unfazed by the warning, he will acknowledge Skif for informing him about Sidorovich and providing some coupons as a gesture.

As you emerge from the tunnel, you’ll find Sidorovich’s men questioning Skif about whether he intends to carry out the plan to eliminate the trader. To protect the traders, you’ll have to engage these men in combat. Following their defeat, Swedish will commend Skif for his actions and reward him with additional Coupons. Despite this, Sidorovich will voice his displeasure towards Skif, but this won’t impact your access to services at Rookie Village or your trading interactions with him.

However, you will forfeit the quest reward that Sidorovich offered.
