In the realm of Stalker 2, I’ve found myself gravitating towards the M701 Super – a top-tier sniper rifle that’s ideal for those who love to keep their enemies at arm’s length. Its impressive magazine capacity and devastating single shot power make short work of hostile NPCs, while even the toughest mutants barely stand a chance with just a few more rounds in return fire.

Getting the M701 Super is rather simple compared to other weapons on this list. You can either go to the rooftop of the Bread Factory, which lies north of Yaniv Station, or if you prefer not to explore, you can buy the rifle from Viktoria Dorozhnyuk at STC Malachite.

Furthermore, there’s a possibility that the M701 Super might become available from the Wreck Vendor at Yaniv Station. If it isn’t on sale immediately, continue advancing in the story, and eventually, you should find it up for grabs.

In terms of pistols, only a few rival the powerhouse that is the Rhino – an extraordinary handgun. It swiftly takes down even heavily fortified adversaries equipped with exoskeletons, and proves highly efficient against creatures such as Controllers and Bloodsuckers, thus making it an invaluable asset to your collection of weapons.

The simplest method to get hold of a Rhino without spending anything is by retrieving it from a wrecked helicopter in Malachite. To locate the helicopter, pass through the Scorcher Checkpoint and follow the path until you see the debris. Alternatively, if you’d prefer not to search, you can purchase the Rhino from Arkhyp Lichen, a vendor stationed at the Pile Driver landmark in the Red Forest area.

You might as well check out another Rhino pistol at the Market Point of Interest, located east of the Bread Factory in the Jupiter area. Opting for something free instead of purchasing weapons with coupons can be quite beneficial.

In Stalker 2, shotguns are the most potent weapons for up-close fighting, and among them, the Ram-2 stands out as the best choice. This mid-to-late game shotgun delivers remarkable range and firepower, but acquiring it is limited to only a few methods.

To grab the Ram-2 shotgun free of charge, navigate your way to the Energiya Vehicle Station landmark in Malachite region. After passing through the Malachite Checkpoint, this will be the initial point of interest you’ll come across. Inside the building located to the north of the station, you’ll discover the Ram-2 shotgun close to a chest and some barrels.

You have two options to obtain the Ram-2 shotgun:

1. The Wreck Vendor at Yaniv Station is selling it if that’s more convenient for you.
2. If you’re further along in the game, Bison, a vendor in the Prypiat region, also stocks this weapon. Choose the one that suits your current location best.

Although the Ram-2 is unquestionably top-notch and deadly, the Saiga D-12 gives it a run for its money. One of its key strengths lies in its earlier availability within Stalker 2, enabling you to make extensive use of it before the Ram-2 even comes into play.

As a passionate gamer, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Saiga D-12, and here’s how I did it: During the mission “In Search of a Guide” in the Zaton region, I found myself in the company of Nimble, an NPC guide who had worked with Faust before. In a thrilling cutscene, Nimble dropped the elusive Saiga D-12! While I could grab it after the scene, remember that it would have low durability and needed some TLC (tender loving care, or repairs) before I could use it effectively.

Heads up gamers! If you’re looking for a free Saiga D-12, make sure to check out the Car Dump POI. The weapon is actually situated on a platform above the area, but beware, you’ll need to navigate through an electric anomaly first. Proceed with caution and good luck!

If you’d prefer not to venture into exploration, you have the option to buy a Saiga D-12 from Wreck, who is the vendor located at Yaniv Station.

In Stalker 2, the Gauss Gun stands out as one of the game’s most superior long-range weapons, surpassing many other ranged options. This formidable single-shot weapon delivers an impressive 500 points of damage per shot, making it capable of instantly defeating even the heavily armored Monolith soldiers in both the Jupiter and Prypiat zones.

The primary disadvantage of using a Gauss Gun isn’t its power or reach; instead, it’s the difficulty in obtaining it. This high-level weapon can be found exclusively within the Prypiat region, hidden inside the Prometheus Movie Theater during the “The Road to the Foundation” main mission.

If you’d rather not wait until later in the game, you have the option to obtain an earlier, slightly less durable version of the Gauss Gun by finishing the “In the Name of Science” side mission. While progressing through this mission, ensure that you disable the jammers. This step will prolong the quest, and upon its completion, you’ll be rewarded with the Gauss Gun.

An alternative method is finding the Gauss Gun dropped by Monolith soldiers at random. It’s worth noting that these adversaries may carry it, especially during their attacks on Yaniv Station towards the latter stages of the game.

There’s no denying that sniper rifles are top-tier weapons in Stalker 2, delivering exceptional damage from afar. That’s why the Mark 1 EMR is yet another great option to consider, and fortunately, you can acquire it relatively early on during gameplay.

Or, more concisely:

In Stalker 2, sniper rifles are standout weapons for their long-range damage potential. One such example is the Mark 1 EMR, which you can get early in the game.

To obtain a complimentary Mark 1 EMR, navigate towards the Army Warehouses, which are situated south of the Chemical Plant district. Once there, search for the central watchtower in the vicinity; it’s here that you will find the weapon of interest.

Even if you haven’t managed to get into the Chemical Plant earlier or chosen to align with the Ward faction, you can still acquire the Mark 1 EMR from certain merchants.

At Yaniv Station, The Ammunition Seller could acquire the Model 1 Emergency Medical Rifle. Furthermore, Vendor Komisarov, stationed in the Cement Factory district, might also have it available for purchase. Make sure to verify with both vendors if you can’t locate the weapon through your own search.

In the game Stalker 2, assault rifles provide an ideal blend of strength and rapid firing speed, outperforming sniper rifles in this aspect. Notably, the Dnipro stands out as a formidable weapon for close-quarter battles, particularly when maneuvering through narrow indoor spaces or dealing with enemies at distances ranging from close to mid-range with relative ease.

The Dnipro’s distinct quality isn’t solely its power; it’s also easily usable in the middle of a game and continues to be effective right up until the end.

At the Southern Cooling Tower landmark, you’ll get your first opportunity to acquire the Dnipro. Search for an unusual fire whirl phenomenon at this spot – it has the power to transport you close by and ultimately to the top of the cooling tower. Upon arrival, look for a chest near which you’ll find the Dnipro rifle.

If you skipped the Cooling Towers during your main storyline and instead moved on to the Red Forest, don’t worry! You can still acquire the Dnipro. Make your way to the Lishchyna Facility, situated in the eastern part of the Red Forest. The rifle you seek should be inside for your collection.

If you’re more inclined towards avoiding exploration, you can acquire the Dnipro from the Wreck Vendor stationed at Yaniv, as long as you have a few extra coupons on hand.

If you’re looking for a rifle with slightly less firepower than the Dnipro but still capable, the Khardo could be your go-to choice. It’s a dependable weapon ideal for mid-game play, handling tough fights in the Jupiter and Prypiat areas remarkably well. What makes it stand out is its potency against heavily armored targets.

To acquire the Khardo, make your way to the Point of Interest (POI) known as the Trailer Dump, which can be found north of the Yantar Production Complex. Once there, seek out a locker room close to a building by the riverbank and use the passcode 5578 to open it.

At the Mobile Enterprise Building Point of Interest in the Jupiter area, another free Khardo can be obtained. This is an advanced game location. Access it by leaping through a gap in the garage ceiling, where you’ll discover the rifle within.

Additionally, if the previously mentioned exploration methods seem too challenging, you might consider buying Kharod from Wreck at Yaniv Station instead.

In the game Stalker 2, weapons such as the Zubr-19 stand out due to their effectiveness against armored foes or large groups of mutants at close quarters. Boasting a sizable magazine capacity, rapid firing rate (RPM), and substantial damage output, the Zubr-19 truly shines in scenarios where quickness and firepower are crucial.

Choosing it as your main weapon for handling intense situations filled with many adversaries is an excellent decision. This weapon enables you to swiftly and effectively neutralize threats.

During your gameplay, you’ll discover that the Zubr-19 is available for free in two primary spots. In the Chemical Plant area, support the Ward faction at the beginning of the game, then travel northeast from the Pallet Warehouse Point of Interest. Near a medic, you’ll find a warehouse with an entrance. Use the code 8506 to unlock the door and acquire the Zubr-19.

Or, simply:

In your adventure, locate two free spots for the Zubr-19. In the Chemical Plant zone, back the Ward faction early on, then head northeast from the Pallet Warehouse POI. Inside a nearby warehouse with a medic nearby, use code 8506 to open the door and snag the Zubr-19.

In the Malachite region of STC, there’s another chance to get your hands on an SMG. Northward from the X17 Lab Point of Interest, you’ll find the Brain Scorcher POI. Near a secure area, search for a box that can be reached by leaping across containers and entering the hangar.

As a gamer, if I’m partial to handguns, the APSB is definitely worth checking out once I’ve gotten my hands on the Rhino. This pistol packs a punch with its three-round burst, which can be surprisingly effective in combat. In fact, when I aim at an enemy’s chest, there’s a good chance the third round will land as a headshot. That makes the APSB a formidable choice for taking down unarmored opponents with just one burst. It’s a secondary weapon that’s definitely lethal!

You can find an APSB pistol in the Stechanka Point of Interest, located southwest of the Promin Command Manufacturing Factory. This particular pistol has full durability and it’s available for free on a pallet that is placed on the rooftop.

Instead, consider investigating the marshland to the west of the Akhroprom Factory. Hidden in the subterranean part of this site are a pair of Controller mutants guarding a large safe. Inside this safe lies the APSB pistol.

For those players who opt out of exploring, the APSB can alternatively be bought from Arkhyp Lichen, a vendor stationed in the Red Forest district. Although exploration might consume time and resources, these weapons are undeniably valuable to any survivor aiming for the top-tier weaponry in Stalker 2, making the endeavor more than worthwhile.

Although it doesn’t match the damage per shot of the top-ranking sniper rifles in our list, its increased rounds per minute (RPM) makes it a viable alternative to an assault rifle. With skillful headshots, you can swiftly take down enemies before they can identify your position.

To get your hands on the SVU-MK S-3 without spending a dime, make your way north from the Parking Lot Point of Interest towards the Quarry. Once there, look for a weathered crane and ascend it. At the top, you’ll find the SVU-MK S-3, ready for you to collect.

An alternative approach is to access the door at the Lisovyi Point of Interest, situated in the western Yaniv Region. Use the code 240983 to open the door, which leads below ground level. Inside, you’ll discover the SVU-MK S-3, waiting to be claimed.

Given that close combat can be risky, the SVDM-2 allows you to effortlessly take down enemies from mid-range to long distances.

1. To get your hands on the SVDM-2, there are multiple options available to you. The initial chance comes when you make a trip to the Rostok region.

2. In the northeastern part of Chystohalivka landmark within Rostok, you will come across a hidden bunker. This bunker is marked by a rusty car and scattered rocks nearby.

3. Upon reaching this location, you’ll discover SVDM-2 inside the bunker, neatly placed in an open container.

In Stalker 2, Integral-A stands out as an excellent Submachine Gun, particularly during the early stages when you can navigate through the Garbage or Chemical Plant zones. Despite its reasonable damage, recoil, and close-quarter precision, what truly sets it apart is its lightweight nature.

In the early stages of play, carrying heavy weapons can be an issue, but with Integral-A, you’ll rarely find yourself needing a bulky weapon; a lighter one should suffice.

In the area surrounding the Cement Factory and close to the Reloading Point, it’s rare to come across Integral-A for free. However, if you explore the western part of the site, you’ll discover a hidden hole in the wall. Inside this hole, you’ll likely stumble upon Integral-A and some of its ammo stored on an old, rusted oil drum.

You’ll find the Integral-A for sale at several locations: Viktoria Dorozhnyuk at STC Malachite in Rostok, the vendor at Wreck in Yaniv Station, and an additional one at Eugene. Each of these vendors should have this gun in stock when you arrive. If it’s not immediately available, continue with the storyline and revisit the vendor at a later time.

Despite being heavier than the S-tier shotguns we previously discussed, the SPSA-14 makes up for this disadvantage by offering various ammunition types and impressive firepower. You can opt for the regular shotgun shells, but this weapon is capable of handling even powerful shotgun slugs, enabling you to take down two Bloodsuckers with relative ease when armed with an SPSA-14.

Head towards the west from the Yantar Production Complex, located in the Yantar region. There you’ll come across the Scientist Bunker Point of Interest (POI). Upon finding that, proceed to explore the roof of the Scientist Bunker where you can locate Oles Moor’s body. Lastly, retrieve the SPSA-14 item from his remains.

Similar to Integral-A, you can acquire SPSA-14 from Wreck at Yaniv Station, Viktoria Dorozhnyuk at STC Malachite, and Eugene at Rostok Base. However, I recommend purchasing it only if there’s no superior weapon in your inventory currently. Keep in mind that it will set you back 17000 Credits.

To obtain the GP37 for free, head to the Point of Interest (POI) at the Yantar Production Complex situated in the Yantar region. In the eastern area of this POI, look for a row of old, rusty pipes that can be accessed via a ladder. This will lead you to the building’s rooftop where you’ll discover the GP37 next to a duffle bag.

In Stalker 2, there are several opportunities to purchase the GP37 assault rifle rather than hunting for it in the wilderness. Upon your initial visits to WO Komisarov at the Cement Factory and Eugene at Rostok Base, you may find that they carry this firearm.

In Stalker 2, many sniper rifles don’t have a built-in suppressor, but the VS Vintar is an exception. Using a suppressed weapon is advantageous when taking out human enemies because they’ll find it difficult to determine your position. However, mutants like Bloodsuckers or Controllers can detect you more easily if you’re within medium to close proximity due to their heightened sense of smell.

Heading northwest from the Roadside Shop POI in Zaton, you’ll come across an entrance to a tunnel. Inside this tunnel, you’ll encounter a Chimera. It’s your call whether to battle the Chimera first for a gun or quickly move towards the end of the tunnel, locate and pick up the VS Vintar with some ammo near a skeleton on a bed, then make a hasty retreat.

Should you possess 21,000 Credits, you’ll find that Viktoria Dorozhnyuk at STC Malachite or Ragman at Rostok Base offer the VS Vintar sniper rifle for sale. Keep in mind, this purchase comes with a substantial price tag, so consider it only if you genuinely require a sniper rifle.

This preference stems from its advantages: it is lighter than most other shotguns, boasting a good magazine capacity, range, and damage.

To acquire the M860 Cracker without charge, simply complete the mission titled ‘The Price Goes Up’. Once the mission is finished, remember to grab the backpack located near the crane. This is where you’ll find your complimentary shotgun.

In Stalker 2, you can obtain the M860 Cracker for 8000 Credits at three different locations: Yaniv Station (from Wreck), STC Malachit (Viktoria Dorozhnyuk), and Slag Heap (Huron). This weapon is moderately priced, making it suitable for mid to late game purchases. To acquire the Fora-221 for free, finish the Uninvited Guests side quest at the Cement Factory. During this mission, Myrtkas requests that you recover a lost gun from two controllers he encountered. Upon completion of the quest, choose to keep the Fora-221 rather than giving it back to Myrtkas, and it will become your own.

The AR416 is a standard assault rifle, suitable for both early and mid-stage gameplay areas. Given its widespread popularity, it’s often encountered among foes in the Garbage, Chemical Plant, and Lesser Zone regions. This is because the weapon boasts a 300-meter range and respectable accuracy, making it capable of scoring kills from medium distances.

Head towards the Bus Stop near the Bloodsucker Village Point of Interest, which is located in the Chemical Plant area. You’ll spot a bus shelter with two individuals; they appear to have met an unfortunate end. Search them for loot and you’ll discover the AR416 and a Viper-5. Both weapons will have reduced durability, indicated by their red status.

In Prypiat, you can purchase the AR416 from Bison, Viktoria Dorozhnyuk at STC Malachite, WO Komisarov at the Cement Factory, or Eugene at Rostok Base. Keep in mind that this assault rifle is on the pricier side, especially for early to mid-game, costing 14,000 credits.

In the initial regions of Stalker 2, the AKM-74S is a commonly encountered assault rifle. Enemies from multiple factions frequently wield it against you. Despite its moderate precision, this firearm boasts a faster rate of fire per minute (RPM) and a sufficient magazine capacity. This combination makes the AKM-74S an effective weapon for close to mid-range battles.

In Stalker 2, there are multiple methods to acquire the AKM-74S, but none of them offer much convenience. For instance, within the Wild Island region, look for a house north of the Sawmill. Inside this house, you’ll find the AKM-74S on a table in the attic, which can be accessed by opening the window.

In the Mindscrew Point of Interest (POI) within the Cordon area, you’ll encounter three stationary Non-Player Characters (NPCs), specifically Privates Izhenko, Lemarier, and Lepyk, all sprawled inside a tunnel. Additionally, its accuracy surpasses that of AKM-74s assault rifles, making mid-range headshots more achievable.

To obtain the Buket S-2 SMG quickly at the start, make your way towards the Garbage region once you gain access. Head west from the Northern Checkpoint and continue until you reach the Vehicle Graveyard Point of Interest (POI). Just north of this site, you’ll discover a cave entrance that leads to a hidden stash where the Buket S-2 SMG is stored.

There are several places where you can purchase the Buket S-2 weapon. These include Quiet’s Camp on Wild Island, WO Komisarov at the Cement Factory, and Viktoria Dorozhnyuk at STC Malachite. Each of these vendors will offer you this Submachine Gun (SMG) for a price of 12,000 Credits.

In the game Stalker 2, the AS Lavina stands out as an assault rifle boasting a high rate of fire and remarkable precision. It provides a good range, though it falls short when it comes to the damage per shot. However, the AS Lavina’s unique selling point isn’t its damage output; rather, it’s the built-in silencer that makes it shine. This feature pushes the AS Lavina up to a strong B-rank in our evaluations. Without this silencer, the AS Lavina might find itself relegated to the C-tier category.

To get the AS Lavina, you should wait for the primary mission titled “Just Like the Old Days.” Journey to Quiet’s Camp, as that is where the rifle can be found. Now, the location will appear chaotic but look for the AS Lavina on a shelf among other firearms, located behind where the Quiet vendor previously sat.

If you don’t get a chance to buy the AS Lavina there, you can find it for sale at two different locations: Wreck at Yaniv Station and Viktoria Dorozhnyuk at STC Malachite. Both vendors should have the weapon in stock when you initially speak with them.

Skif’s Pistol is a modified form of the typical PTM handgun, boasting significantly greater power than its regular counterpart. You acquire this firearm as your initial weapon in the Prologue mission titled “There and Back Again.

It seems there’s an unusual restriction on this gun – you won’t be able to discard it, exchange it, or even sell it to merchants. As your gaming journey unfolds and you obtain superior firearms, this particular pistol will become an unnecessary burden in your inventory.

Without any built-in accessories, Skif’s Pistol can be significantly improved by adding the High-Capacity PTM Magazine and Pistol Suppressor. This transformation makes it a highly efficient sidearm.

The Grom S-14 is a firearm that combines an assault rifle with a built-in grenade launcher. Unfortunately, this versatile weapon doesn’t live up to its potential. In reality, it falls short in performance when used as either an assault rifle or a grenade launcher.

This gun’s base damage is significantly lower than typical assault rifles, and it’s actually less potent than the AS Lavina previously discussed. If you’re searching for high firepower, another weapon would likely serve you better.

If you’re set on acquiring the Grom S-14, consider earning it rather than buying it. To achieve this, take on the “Vadyk Firecracker” side quest in the Chemical Plant area. You can locate Vadyk at the Bloodsucker Village Point of Interest, where he’ll assign you a mission to hunt down a Pseudo-Giant. If you manage to complete the task successfully, Vadyk will reward you with the Grom S-14 for free.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to bypass the trouble, you could pick up the Grom S-14 at Yaniv Station’s Wreck for 25,000 Credits instead.

In the game Stalker 2, machine guns are hard to come by, but one of them is the RPM-74. Although the Grom S-14 deals more damage, the RPM-74 stands out due to its superior armor penetration and a much larger magazine compared to most assault rifles in the game.

To get the RPM-74, make your way to Liisovyi, which is located in the westernmost area of Yaniv region. Once there, look for a building where you’ll notice a control panel close to an underground room. Use the code 240983 to open the door. Inside this secured space, you’ll discover the RPM-74 sitting on some wooden crates by a wall.

In simpler terms, the AKM-74U is a scaled-down variant of the renowned AK-74 assault rifle. Despite being compact, it packs quite a punch. Although it resembles and handles like a Submachine Gun (SMG), its ability to inflict damage and pierce through obstacles makes it exceptionally useful in the early stages of Stalker 2.

The AKM-74U, being one of the more effective starting weapons, is a smart investment, particularly considering the restricted firearm choices available initially. You can acquire it for 6,000 Credits from Huron at Slag Heap or Hamster at Zalissya.

You don’t always need to spend money to obtain this weapon. In fact, many early-game adversaries, such as ISPF soldiers, often drop the AKM-74U when defeated, albeit in a damaged state (indicated by red durability). Instead of purchasing one, consider scavenging it from fallen enemies and repairing it for a more budget-friendly strategy.

The Viper-5 functions comparably to an assault rifle, yet this resemblance may not always be advantageous. Its key advantages primarily lie in its rapid firing rate and acceptable accuracy. However, it encounters difficulties in delivering precise headshots, frequently leading to unnecessary expenditure of ammunition on ineffective body shots. Other weapons might perform more effectively under such circumstances.

Instead of the Viper-5 being frequently dropped by hostile NPCs early on, it’s quite common. However, these found versions often have low durability, making them less dependable. If you prefer one in better shape, you can purchase it from Hamster at Zalissya or locate it in Zhorik’s Stash—a spot within a radioactive helicopter north of the Boiler House in the Lesser Zone region.

In Stalker 2, the M10 Gordon boasts an exceptionally high rate of fire, making it a notable choice among Submachine Guns (SMG). However, its standout feature is essentially its rapid-fire capability. It falls short in other areas such as damage output, range, and accuracy. On the plus side, its penetration power is acceptable. Given its compact size, resembling a pistol, it can be devastating in close-quarter battles. But at longer ranges, it consumes ammo quickly with minimal effect.

During the Budmo! side quest, you’ll find an opportunity to obtain the M10 Gordon without any cost by retrieving the hidden stash close to a pile of concrete blocks. If you’ve never tried using this Submachine Gun before, this is an excellent moment for a first-hand experience.

If you prefer not to impact the main quest’s development, you have the option to buy it instead. You can find the M10 Gordon at Slag Heap from Huron, or at STC Malachite where Viktoria Dorozhnyuk is selling it for 5,700 Credits each.

The UDP Compact is recognized for its exceptional precision, yet it lacks the impactful performance expected of a weapon beyond that. Though some users might admire its stealthy blacked-out appearance and striking sound upon firing—particularly contrasting the PTM handgun’s sound—the 15-round magazine pistol appears somewhat lackluster in real combat scenarios.

As a gamer, I stumbled upon a free UDP Compact south of the Dire Thicket Point of Interest in the Lesser Zone. Nearby, there’s a powerless automated door that serves as a landmark. If you prefer to buy it instead, make your way to the Garbage region first, where Huron at Slag Heap will have it up for sale.

As a devoted fan, I’ve found that acquiring the PTM in Stalker 2 is remarkably straightforward, but its advantages are limited to just that ease of acquisition. Unfortunately, it falls short in other areas. Compared to other pistols, it boasts the shortest range, and its penetration power and damage output are disappointingly low. This combination makes it less than ideal for most combat scenarios.

In these early stages of the game, you’ll often encounter Point of Interest Markers (PTM) as you defeat enemies in the Lesser Zone, Garbage, and Chemical Plant sectors, which are among the initial play areas.

You don’t have to shell out cash for this gun because it’s quite widespread. Instead, pick one up for nothing, and if you feel the need to include a pistol in your equipment, you can always get it fixed by a Technician if required.

The Toz-34 is a double-barreled firearm that stands out for dealing substantial damage among early-game weaponry, but it’s effective primarily at short distances. Its main disadvantage lies in its limited ammunition capacity of two rounds, meaning you need to reload after every pair of shots, which could be problematic during high-intensity battles.

In the Lesser Zone of Zalissya, Hamster is among the initial vendors where you could purchase the Toz-34 weapon. But if you’re aiming to save some cash and not rush into buying weapons at first, you can locate one for free within the Levitating Silo POI in the Lesser Zone. Inside a house there, you’ll find it hidden in the attic area.

As an alternative, make your way towards the southeast direction from Poppy Field located within the Lesser Zone, then discover a cache inside a cabin, where you’ll find another Toz-34 hidden away.

The Boomstick is a compact replica of the Toz-34, featuring an even more limited range. Surprisingly powerful for its diminutive stature, it inflicts significant destruction in close quarters, but its utility essentially ends there.

You have two options for buying a Boomstick:
1. Purchase it from Hamster at Zalissya.
2. If you’ve reached the Garbage region, buy it from Huron at Slag Heap instead.

In case you don’t want to purchase it, you can often find the Boomstick being dropped by hostile characters in the Lesser Zone, Chemical Plant, and Trash areas instead.

In Stalker 2, the RPG-7U stands out as one of the bulkier, less practical weapons due to its weight and lack of effectiveness against Pseudo-Giant mutants. Shockingly, a single shot from this weapon fails to eliminate these formidable creatures, rendering it nearly worthless in your arsenal. Tracking down ammo for it is no easy task—it’s hidden across the game map, and by the time you locate some, you’ll probably be overburdened with the weight of the ammunition itself.

Regardless of its far reach, the RPG-7U’s inconvenience relegates it to being one of the least preferred weapons in the game. This is the reason why it occupies the lowest position on our Stalker 2 weapon rankings.
