Veterans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series announced a new game: Forest Reigns.

VG Entertainment, an independent Ukrainian studio spearheaded by Ruslan Didenko, views their initial project as a “return to their origins.” Notably, Didenko previously supervised the development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, which was part of the series. Additionally, he served as the primary gameplay designer in Clear Sky and contributed to the creation of Shadow of Chornobyl.

As Didenko puts it, Forest Reigns brings to mind the game STALKER. It’s an action role-playing first-person shooter (FPS) set in a post-apocalyptic world that operates independently. The player is expected to have a significant influence on both the game world and the unfolding storyline. This immersive experience includes a realistic shooting system, equipment customization, survival aspects, and more.

Instead of the previous nuclear power plant locations, the game Forest Reigns transports players to Paris and its forested title area. Developers characterize this as a “sentient being, with its own dreams and desires.” From the initial trailer, it appears that it’s not just symbolic.

The game titled “Forest Reigns” is making its way onto PC platforms, but a definite release date has not been announced as of now. Interestingly, the minimum system requirements for playing the game have been disclosed on its Steam page already.
