Star Trek: Starfleet Academy Adds Two More to Cast

As a long-time Star Trek fan and avid gamer, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the latest addition to the Star Trek universe – Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. The announcement of Karim Diang and Zoé Steiner joining the cast as cadets is an exciting development for this upcoming series.

Two new cadets, Karim Dian (from “One of Us Is Lying”) and Zo? Steiner (“Significant Others”), have been added to the first-year student body of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Paramount+ announced their casting on Thursday. Production for this new Star Trek series, produced by CBS Studios and focusing on a group of young Starfleet cadets, begins this summer. Previously announced cast members include Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, and George Hawkins. Holly Hunter plays a Starfleet captain serving as the Academy’s current chancellor, while Paul Giamatti portrays the first season’s antagonist.

In “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy,” I join a team of ambitious cadets all striving towards the same goal: serving in Starfleet with its message of hope and optimism. Our instructors keep us on our toes with their watchful eyes and demanding training, helping us forge new friendships and face explosive rivalries. We navigate through first loves and encounter a dangerous new enemy that puts both the Academy and the Federation at risk.
