Star Wars Battlefront 3: Must-Have Maps and Characters Fans Are Dying to See!

Previously, there’s been a lot of buzz on the web about Star Wars Battlefront 3. Given the fervent demand from fans, let’s ponder what features this potential game might boast.

Since Battlefront 2 debuted in 2017 and finished its DLC cycles in 2020, there’s plenty of fresh Star Wars content available for a future game to explore.

The last installment skillfully incorporated elements from the prequels, sequels, originals, and the spin-offs of the initial Disney era, yet it’s important to note that there’s even more Star Wars content available today.

Given that we might be waiting a few years for Star Wars Battlefront 3, the development team would have plenty of fresh Star Wars narratives spanning over five years to draw from, creating new map and character options. So, let’s jump right in!

Star Wars Battlefront 3: New maps and characters that need to be included

Since the release of Star Wars: Battlefront 3, the entire Disney Plus era of Star Wars has unfolded, and upcoming movies suggest they could be ideally suited for a game like this.

Characters: The Mandalorian and Grogu

Over the past few years, I’ve been captivated by the epic journey unfolding on my screen, starring Mando and that adorable little creature fondly known as ‘Baby Yoda’. It all started long after Battlefront 2 had ceased to produce new content.

It’s unfortunate that those characters aren’t likely to be in Battlefront 3, as we’re eager to take on the roles of them or their allies if given the chance. Hopefully, they will be part of the game should it ever be developed.

Given that the upcoming movie featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu is the highly anticipated cinematic release for the franchise, it’s not unreasonable to speculate that they might make an appearance in a game like this as well!

Map: Post-ROTJ Tatooine

In essence, since The Mandalorian series is largely focused on intimate, character-driven narratives with the financial backing of a television production, you wouldn’t typically find Mando and Grogu involved in sprawling battles akin to those seen in video games.

In terms of a significant event they’ve both experienced, that incident on Tatooine during “The Book of Boba Fett” would likely be the one we’d single out. Ring any bells? It was the chaos with the Rancor running amok, wasn’t it?

Despite frequently playing on Tatooine maps in the past, this series being set after the Return of the Jedi offers a slightly changed atmosphere compared to previous instances.

Characters: Anakin and Ahsoka

When you imagine Star Wars fights during the Disney Plus period, a common mental image is Hayden Christensen enveloped in smoke within the context of Ahsoka’s flashback sequence.

It would undeniably be thrilling to witness Anakin Skywalker (Clone Wars era) and Ahsoka Tano side by side in Battlefront 3. Furthermore, it would be great if we could reassemble all the veteran Clone Troopers for a return to action.

It’s important to play some classic favorites to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves!

Map: Mandalore

The hazy battleground that Anakin and Ahsoka encountered in a dreamlike fashion? It was likely the Siege of Mandalore, a significant event in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which fans of the animated show would recall vividly.

If The Mandalorian continues to be a significant character within Star Wars by the release of this game, having a fully explorable map of Mandalore (his home planet), seems quite appropriate and exciting!

Here are two options for your scenario, presented in a more conversational and accessible manner:

1. We can place this event during the Clone Wars era, or we could advance the timeline slightly to the Great Purge – an Imperial attack on this planet that’s frequently referenced in Mandoverse productions.

2. Or, we could position this occurrence amidst the tumultuous Clone Wars, or we might opt for a later timeframe during the Great Purge, a significant Imperial assault on this planet that is regularly hinted at in Mandoverse series.

Both options maintain the original information while being more engaging and easier to read.

Characters: Cassian Andor and company

Two days post-watching Andor Season 2’s finale, I can’t help but emphasize the importance of featuring these series characters in Battlefront 3.

Originally, Battlefront 2 included Scarif from Rogue One as downloadable content. However, since then, the series, specifically Andor, has significantly highlighted the harsh and grueling aspects of war within this galaxy.

In this series, since there are no Force users, it follows that both Cassian, his comrades, and their adversaries will rely solely on blasters for combat. However, that’s not a problem at all!

Map: Ghorman

Currently, among the locations in Andor, Ghorman seems to be the strongest candidate for a map in Star Wars Battlefront 3.

Ghorman didn’t just seem authentic; it was the site of one of the most chilling and indelible battles in Star Wars lore. Using ‘battle’ feels insufficient. It was more accurately described as a bloodbath.

Nonetheless, the bustling town square of Ghorman and its gritty side-alleys could be an ideal setting for Battlefront 3’s next map.

Characters: The Bad Batch

It’d be exciting if Star Wars Battlefront 3 incorporated elements from the Disney-era animated series, giving it a fresh, nostalgic feel.

It seems that “The Bad Batch” would be the most fitting option, given it centers around military personnel and their conflicts.

As a gamer, I’ve got to say it – Hunter, Tech, Crosshair, Wrecker, and Echo are absolute must-haves for any team! Put them together, and you’d have Clone Force 99 – a force so powerful, they’d strike fear into the hearts of all who dare oppose them!

Map: Kamino

As a hardcore Star Wars gamer, if I were designing a map themed around The Bad Batch, the natural choice would be Kamino – not just because it’s the Clone Army’s birthplace, but also because it holds a sentimental value for fans who loved the prequel movies.

As a hardcore gamer, I can’t help but wonder about the untold story behind the shutdown of the watery cloning facility on Kamino. It’d be absolutely thrilling to dive into a game that lets me explore this intriguing chapter of Star Wars lore!

Of course, Kamino was already in the previous game, but we’d expect there to be some repeats here!

Character and map combined: Jod at the battle of At Attin

In case Star Wars Battlefront 3 eventually releases, it remains uncertain whether Skeleton Crew would continue as part of Disney’s portfolio.

Currently, the events are still vividly recallable. With his dual roles as a swashbuckling pirate and a wise Jedi, Jod would undoubtedly create an intriguing character to play.

For our map, let’s choose the central location of Attin, where pirates raided in the thrilling climax of the series. That sounds exciting!

Character and map combined: Qimir in the jungle of Khafar

By the time Star Wars Battlefront 3 comes out, it’s likely that memories of The Acolyte series will have faded a bit. However, we can confidently say that the passionate fanbase of Qimir will persist!

On a battlefield, wouldn’t it be unsettling to witness that menacing helmet approaching you? But perhaps there’s another perspective: maybe you find yourself admiring his muscular arms instead.

To find the location, we’ll navigate towards Khafar, the dense forest where Qimir famously faced off against an entire battalion of Jedi red shirts.

Character and map combined: Ryan Gosling in space!

It appears at the present time that a Starfighter film featuring Ryan Gosling is highly probable and may indeed be produced.

Clearly, it has a significant emphasis on space combat, so it’d be exciting if there was some kind of integration with Battlefront, assuming everything goes according to plan.

Absolutely, rumors swirl about a standalone film featuring Rey, occurring beyond the events of The Rise of Skywalker. It’d be thrilling to delve into that timeframe in Battlefront 3, should it materialize someday!

Will this game actually get made and will any of our ideas align with what’s actually in it?

For now, all we have is hope. But hey, rebellions are built on hope!
