As a die-hard Star Wars fan and someone who has been eagerly anticipating the release of “Star Wars Outlaws,” I can barely contain my excitement as I watch this latest gameplay footage. The new mission showcased in this video, where Kay tracks down an Expert to install a laser turret on her ship, is just the kind of adventure I’ve been craving.
In about a month, the new “Star Wars Outlaws” game will be released, and there’s been a growing number of gameplay previews available. Thanks to IGN, we can now watch an additional 10-minute video.
Recently added gameplay reveals a new mission where Kay is on the hunt for an Expert, a skilled Jawa mechanic, aiming to equip her spaceship, the Trailblazer, with a laser turret. In order to secure this expert’s services, Kay must first retrieve a tooth from the secondary mouth of a sarlacc as payment.
Kay’s assignment includes locating a deceased sarlacc, descending into its lair, and retrieving a tooth from its second opening. This endeavor presents some moderate obstacles in the form of traversal and platforming. However, shortly after emerging from the sarlacc’s carcass, Kay is confronted by a bandit who snatches the tooth away from her.
After that, she trails the bandit to his hideout, providing a glimpse into intense battle and sneaking scenes. Here, we witness Kay effectively employing Nix’s special skills and diverse blaster modifications.
After extracting the tooth, she hastily departs on her speeder. In the meantime, the Jawa Expert equips the Trailblazer with a laser cannon. The demonstration concludes with some thrilling space combat, as the ship effortlessly ascends from the planet’s surface into the cosmos and engages in intense dogfights using its newly installed laser cannon.
