Ubisoft has rolled out a fresh update for Star Wars Outlaws, available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. While the update doesn’t bring significant changes, it’s worth noting for PC and PlayStation 5 Pro users. The reason? PC gamers can now enjoy a significant new feature, whereas PS5 Pro users can look forward to enhanced PSSR performance. Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X might not find as much excitement in this update, though.
The Star Wars Outlaws update for the latest versions of PlayStation (PS5 and PS5 Pro) requires 1.93 GB of data for download, while it needs 3.65 GB on Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, and 3.30 GB if you’re using a PC, whether you’re accessing the game through Ubisoft Connect or Steam.
The enhancements made to the PS5 Pro PSSR are significant, but it’s important to highlight that the most exciting aspect of this update lies in the PC versions of games now supporting DLSS 4 alongside Multi Frame Generation for GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs. This upgrade is expected to significantly boost gameplay performance for those who have the necessary hardware.
Star Wars Outlaws Update 1.5.1 Patch Notes
Star Wars Outlaws on PC now incorporates DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation specifically for GeForce RTX 50 series, a technology that leverages artificial intelligence to generate up to three frames for every traditionally rendered frame, thereby increasing the frames per second (FPS) count. This new version of DLSS 4 also brings faster Single Frame Generation and reduced memory consumption for both RTX 50 and 40 Series GPUs. Additionally, it introduces innovative transformer AI models for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and DLAA across all GeForce RTX GPUs, improving game stability, lighting effects, and overall detail in motion.
