As a dedicated Star Wars fan who has followed the franchise for decades, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anxiety as I reflect on the season finale of The Acolyte. The episode was a rollercoaster ride of twists and turns that left me on the edge of my seat, answering some big questions about the mystery of Brendok while leaving plenty more to ponder.

And oh, how exciting it would be if Osha could build up her strength to attempt rescuing the bewildered Mae from the Jedi temple/custody!

The Acolyte Creator Gives Season 2 Update:
Leslye Headland, the mind behind “The Acolyte,” has shared her intentions of developing more stories for the series. However, she revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that she hasn’t received any updates regarding its renewal yet.
Headland responded with a firm “No,” waving her hands to signify nothing when asked about any new developments on “The Acolyte.” She added, “You need a break, especially after something as intense as this. My brain has been working non-stop for so long – Star Wars, Acolyte, problem-solving, constant thinking. It’s strange to be in a place where I don’t have to do that. I always tell aspiring writers, ‘The best thing you can do is relax and do nothing. Once you start forcing a story, it becomes stressful, and the story can’t begin under those conditions.'”
She chuckled and continued, “My mind doesn’t seem to want to rest, it keeps on working, much like when you’re sprinting and find it hard to bring yourself to a halt.”
