As a seasoned gamer and Star Wars enthusiast who has navigated through the vast cosmos of gaming and storytelling, the latest revelation about Star Wars: Skeleton Crew has left me both intrigued and excited! The appearance of the Sith’s ancient language in the series has sparked my curiosity like never before. It’s not every day we get to witness a potential reformed Sith lord’s journey, especially one who seems to be leading a group of kids on a galactic adventure.
The newly announced Star Wars series titled “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” is being pitched as an adventurous tale reminiscent of Amblin stories, featuring a motley crew of young characters from across the galaxy, accompanied by a roguish traveler named Jod Na Nawood (portrayed by Jude Law). Yet, recently released images from “Skeleton Crew” hint that the Sith will make an appearance, but not in the traditional sense that Star Wars enthusiasts might anticipate!
In the picture given, Jod Na Nawood is examining an unusual inscription on the wall where he’s currently located. Fans of Star Wars quickly realized that this wasn’t just any ordinary script – it was “ur-Kittât,” also known as the ancient language of the Sith!
Originally, the language known as ur-Kittât was exclusively used among the Sith Order and the Sith Eternal cult created by Darth Sidious. When it was written, it was scripted in a runic form similar to what’s depicted in the photo. It’s intriguing to speculate whether Jod Na Nawood is perplexed by something unfamiliar or if he’s reading a language that should be kept secret from others.
The movie “Skeleton Crew” merely refers to Jude Law’s character as a “user of the Force,” implying that his allegiance or history with the Force could take unexpected turns. This opens up possibilities for intriguing plot twists, especially considering that most characters who turn from the dark side and seek redemption in Star Wars tend to meet an early demise after their conversion. A story about a reformed Sith lord might offer a fresh perspective on the Star Wars saga.
Summary: Overview: Four children stumble upon an enigmatic finding within what seemed to be their secure homeland planet. Subsequently, they become lost in a perilous and unfamiliar galaxy. Navigating home while encountering both helpful allies and formidable adversaries will prove to be a thrilling journey beyond their wildest imaginations.
In a galaxy far, far away, I’m thrilled to be part of the fandom for “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew,” where I get to see Jude Law, renowned for his roles in “Captain Marvel” and “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,” as the human Force-user, Jod Na Nawood. He leads a lively group of interstellar youngsters: Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), KB (Kyriana Kratter), Neel (Robert Timothy Smith), and Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong).
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew debuts Tuesday, December 3rd on Disney+.
