If “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” is given a second season, its co-creators Jon Watts and Christopher Ford have already devised a strategy to address one of the main problems that “Stranger Things” often encounters. In simpler terms, they plan to adapt the storyline in such a way that takes into account the age progression of the show’s young characters. As they work on this concept, Watts shared with Collider that they might introduce a time jump of about three to four years to make the plot coherent. However, they won’t adopt the “Stranger Things” approach where a significant amount of time seems to pass in just one day, as it wouldn’t fit their narrative.

Ford explained that the time leap is larger due to the lengthy process required to set things in motion. With numerous consequences at stake, he suggested it might be better to wait and catch up later.

The show titled “Skeleton Crew” centers around a band of four adolescents, aged 13-14, who become lost in the vast expanse of the Star Wars universe and must navigate their way back home.
