Asmodee, renowned for publishing timeless favorites such as Ticket to Ride, CATAN, 7 Wonders, Star Wars: Unlimited, Azul, and Spot It, is unveiling a new logo and aesthetic to reflect its evolving focus and vision. Over the past 30 years in the tabletop gaming industry, our brand hasn’t always been well-known among players. With this brand transformation, our goal is to make Asmodee a familiar, trusted, beloved, and sought-after name by gamers worldwide.
The fresh branding was created collaboratively with Publicis Groupe’s design agency, Carré Noir. The new logo clearly highlights that the players are at the core of Asmodee, which is also echoed in their updated tagline, “Inspired by Players”. Asmodee aims to carry on providing groundbreaking, award-winning, and thriving games, boasting a team of 21 studios and an extensive collection of over 400 intellectual properties.
As a fan of board games and role-playing, Reza Bassiri, the Chief Creative Officer at Carré Noir, stated that working with Asmodee on their fresh brand identity allowed them to confidently showcase their enthusiasm for gaming. This new identity provides players with a reliable and identifiable brand, making it easier for them to navigate a competitive market and recognize Asmodee as a prominent player in the industry.
Among the notable brands under Asmodee’s publishing roof are franchises such as Arkham Horror, Twilight Imperium, Descent, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars: Shatterpoint, Marvel Champions, Ticket to Ride, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Azul, CATAN, and Star Wars: Shatterpoint.
