Star Wars Zero Company Launches in 2026, First Trailer Revealed

At Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025, it was me, a devoted fan, who witnessed the unveiling of Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor’s first trailer for Star Wars Zero Company. This event took place in the fading days of the Clone Wars. The intriguing single-player turn-based tactics title centers around a former Republic officer named Hawks, along with the enigmatic Zero Company.

This team is made up of “an unusual assemblage of skilled professionals,” engaged in a mission to counteract a growing danger. Although they are highly proficient, internal conflicts within the group need to be addressed by Hawks. The narrative is fresh, but it’s possible that there may be connections to other stories.

As I huddled in anticipation at the end of the trailer, I caught glimpses of what seemed to be an upcoming game that bore a striking resemblance to XCOM – and let’s face it, with all those leaks, it wasn’t much of a surprise! The characters were taking cover, scanning for targets, Force-pushing droids back, sniping them from a distance, and even tossing grenades from high vantage points. There was even a comical moment when the Clone Trooper seemed to miss his mark, adding a touch of humor to this tactical experience.

2026 will see the debut of “Star Wars: Zero Unit” across platforms including Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC systems. For now, specifics about this upcoming title remain under wraps, but keep a close eye on our Developer Panel for future announcements!
