By February 2024, Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe had achieved an impressive milestone of selling 30 million units. However, this game continued to break records throughout the year and as of December, it has sold a staggering 41 million copies, according to Barone’s latest press release. The PC version is the most popular with over 26 million sales, closely trailed by the Nintendo Switch with approximately 7.9 million.
2021 was a bustling year for the game Stardew Valley, with Update 1.6 introducing eight-player multiplayer, festivals, new end-game content, balance changes, a fresh farm type, and other enhancements. Another update is on the way, bringing 40 new mine layouts, as well as additional fairy styles, mystery boxes, and fish frenzies. These free updates reflect Barone’s commitment to providing post-launch support for the game.
At the moment, his upcoming project titled “Haunted Chocolatier” is being paused as the creator is engrossed in developing “Stardew Valley.” However, it’s uncertain if this delay will lead to additional features for “Stardew Valley” in the future.
You can find the game “Stardew Valley” on iPhone, iPad (iOS), various Android devices, personal computers, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and the latest Xbox Series X/S.
