Following the relatively unimpressive release of “Shattered Space”, Bethesda’s upcoming space adventure game, “Starfield“, has been rather quiet. Its last significant update was in November, which included two new features and celebrated having over 15 million players. Yet, this silence may be about to end as soon as the next week.
Based on information from Odahfield’s leak, we can anticipate Starfield-related news next week. However, it’s not the announcement you might be hoping for. There are two potential scenarios. The first possibility is the unveiling of Starborn, the rumored second expansion that seems to be launching this year.
Another possibility is the upcoming launch of the PlayStation 5, given the whispers about a potential Switch 2. With Microsoft unveiling games like Forza Horizon 5, Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, and Age of Mythology: Retold for the PS5, it seems probable that this will indeed happen.
I’m excitedly speculating that the upcoming announcement might be part of the next State of Play, which is rumored to drop on February 14th (or thereabouts). Only time will tell, so keep your eyes peeled for more news! It’s thrilling to know that Starfield is landing on Xbox Series X/S and PC, not forgetting Game Pass – can’t wait to dive in!
