Approximately two weeks prior to its release, Bethesda’s Starfield: Shattered Space was showcased with an in-depth video. The development team revealed fresh insights about the expansion, particularly focusing on how it delves into the theme of knowledge pursuit. Notably, unlike the original game, humanity oversteps boundaries, leading to unintended consequences.
The story centers around a catastrophic event, revealed to be a secret experiment with grav drive technology that goes wrong. It causes a tear in space-time and swallows a significant portion of Dazra, Va’ruun’kai’s capital. The player enters the scene a few weeks later, but the city is in ruins with a massive crater still present.
Multiple individuals are unaccounted for, among them Anasko Va’ruun, the tribal chief and representative of the Great Serpent. Regarding The Scaled Citadel, the government’s stronghold, it currently finds itself ensnared within an enigmatic energy field. In the wake of Anasko’s disappearance, various lesser clans are jostling for dominance, with the Zealots being one such group.
