Starfield: Shattered Space – Gravity Anomalies, New Weapons, and More Showcased in Deep Dive

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation when it comes to Starfield: Shattered Space. The expansion’s focus on Dazra and Va’ruun-kai’s hand-crafted locations has piqued my curiosity, especially given the ominous presence of Zealots, Spacers, the Crimson Fleet, and those creatures from the Vortex.

In a recent detailed video exploration, fresh insights about the narrative and Dazra have been unveiled in the expansion of Starfield’s Shattered Space. Furthermore, the video also revealed what players can anticipate from the enemy encounters and the intricately designed locales crafted by Va’ruun’kai. Take a look below for more information.

In a state of disarray, Dazra stands as the only secure spot on Va’ruun’kai that once offered sanctuary for its inhabitants. The remainder of the planet is perilous, and adventurers will uncover deserted structures inhabited by Zealots, Spacers, and the Crimson Fleet. Additionally, due to a malfunctioning gravitational drive experiment, creatures from the Vortex will start emerging.

Among them are beings known as Vortex Horrors, who become aware when a rift in dimensions occurs and transport themselves to surprise attack. Additionally, players may encounter areas with unusual gravitational forces, allowing them to drift through these zones to access different destinations.

Bethesda is focusing on mid-to-long range weapon options, introducing a gatling gun and a new sword, among others. There’s also an explosive grenade that generates a damaging field around enemies. As you unravel the mysteries and advance through the narrative, your decisions could influence the destiny of House Va’ruun, which may have repercussions across the Settled Systems.

Starfield: Shattered Space launches for Xbox Series X/S and PC on September 30th.
