As a seasoned spacefarer with countless light-years under my belt, I can confidently say that the arrival of Starfield: Shattered Space has sent a thrill through my cosmic veins. Having traversed the vast expanse of the universe, I’ve seen it all – from the barren wastelands of distant galaxies to the bustling metropolises of civilizations unknown. Yet, the lure of Va’ruun’kai, shrouded in mystery and pulsating with energy, promises a journey unlike any other.
Approximately a year has passed since Bethesda released their science fiction RPG, Starfield. Now, its first paid expansion, titled Shattered Space, is now playable on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Priced at $29.99, the narrative finds players traveling to Va’ruun’kai following a disastrous gravitational drive experiment. You can watch the launch trailer below.
On the planet, the enigmatic energy surrounding Fortress Scaled and the disappearance of Anasko Va’ruun have created quite a conundrum. Players are presented with more than 50 fresh destinations to discover, whether they roam the planetary landscape, interact with other factions, or engage in battles against Void Horrors. Additionally, the trailer hints at an increased influence, possibly emanating from another realm.
The game Starfield: Shattered Space offers an array of fresh elements like weapons called Gravity Anomalies, armor sets, side missions, and numerous other features. It’s worth noting that unlike Settled Systems which are procedurally generated, Va’ruun’kai is a meticulously designed location.
