The Seed Lab team has unveiled a fresh trailer and details about their latest life simulation game, titled “Starsand Island.” This sneak peek showcases the game’s unique vehicles and exploration features.

Richardo Wang, creative director at Seed Lab, emphasized in a press statement that the player’s experience is our top priority when designing our games. In Starsand Island, we offer a deep customization feature and numerous ways to explore, aiming for everyone to discover their own happiness and savor the tranquility of simple living. Regardless if you prefer socializing, exploring, or just relaxing, this island holds warmth, joy, and a laid-back atmosphere tailored for you. We envision this island as our ideal life, and we eagerly anticipate collaborating with you to create a distinctive dream world.

According to Seed Lab’s technical director, Goltan Gao, the focus is on ensuring that players are the main characters in their “Starsand Island” tale. We are developing a game that allows players to customize their character, choose their travel and exploration methods across the island’s serene landscapes, and decide whether they embark on their adventures alone, with a pet, or accompanied by a friend. The essence of crafting their ideal island life is the driving force behind every decision we make as we progress in creating “Starsand Island,” and we are eager to reveal more about this creative process as BitSummit commences.

In this game, players can navigate various modes of transportation like skateboards, rollerblades, cars, scooters (with and without sidecars), and even a paraglider over the island’s verdant meadows, colorful forests, sun-kissed beaches, and shimmering sea. Additionally, they can explore amphibious vehicles that allow smooth transition between land and water, broadening their travel possibilities.

On this island journey, you won’t be going it alone! Several vehicles come equipped with passenger seats, enabling non-player characters (NPCs) as companions, pets, or even your real-life pals to join you, all thanks to the multiplayer feature in Starsand Island. Furthermore, the game’s photo mode ensures that every exciting bit of your adventure can be preserved for future recollection.

At this year’s BitSummit expo in Japan, Seed Lab is not only exhibiting Starsand Island, but also disclosing additional information about the character and vehicle customization features within the game. The vehicle personalization system in Starsand Island allows players to fully customize their vehicles; for instance, cars can be repainted with different colors, and adorned with a variety of decals, wheel rims, and interior designs.

In addition to its immersive island setting, Starsand Island offers a multitude of personalization options for your character. You can meticulously adjust various facial traits, select from diverse skin tones and apply makeup, experiment with an array of hairstyles, and pick outfits and accessories that exude a unique, modern style suitable for island living.
