As a seasoned veteran of countless interstellar conflicts and a die-hard fan of the Starship Troopers franchise, I must say that the latest trailer for Starship Troopers: Extermination has me on the edge of my seat! The trials and tribulations of being a Starship Trooper are not for the faint-hearted, as we all know too well.
developer Offworld unveiled a fresh trailer for the team-based shooter game, “Starship Troopers: Extermination”. In this latest video (you can watch it here), we get a glimpse of the diverse planets that players will descend upon to combat swarms of insectoids.
Additionally, the trailer hints that the game will transition from early access on PC, set for release on October 11. This same day marks the debut of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms as well.
Instead of centering on the gameplay mechanics, the newest Starship Troopers: Extermination trailer emphasizes the hardships and challenges faced by Starship Troopers, where players will confront colossal swarms of insects while simultaneously tackling multiple objectives.
In “Starship Troopers: Extermination,” you and your team of 16 are deployed on a distant planet to carry out multiple tasks. Usually, these missions lead up to a grand defensive goal, where not only do you have to fend off waves upon waves of enemies, but also construct necessary structures for survival. After successfully defending against the onslaught, you then evacuate from the planet.
