State of Play Set for September 24 – Rumour

As a seasoned gaming enthusiast with years of immersion in the digital realm, I find myself eagerly anticipating the imminent State of Play presentation rumored to take place next Tuesday, September 24. The whispers of this event have been echoing through the gaming community, and the claims by Jeff Grubb, a trusted voice in our industry, add credence to these murmurs.

According to repeated assertions by journalist Jeff Grubb in recent days, it appears that Sony may be planning a State of Play presentation for some time in September. He has further clarified this claim, even suggesting a particular date for when this supposed event might occur.

On his Giant Bomb podcast Game Mess Mornings, Grubb hinted that it’s highly probable the State of Play presentation will occur on September 24th (next Tuesday). This event may very well be when the anticipated remaster of Horizon Zero Dawn is unveiled.

In the podcast later, Grubb suggested that there’s a possibility Sony might announce another remaster during the showcase, which he described as less intriguing than a Horizon Zero Dawn remake and undoubtedly not Bloodborne. Unfortunately, he didn’t provide any additional details.

Earlier this month, Sony held a technical presentation during which it unveiled the PS5 Pro, which is due out in November for $699.99. If a State of Play presentation happens soon, it’s likely we’ll see more PS5 Pro gameplay footage at the showcase.
