Steel Hunters is Out Now in Steam Early Access

Fans who have been eagerly waiting for their giant robot combat fix since Mecha Break’s beta ended now have something new to anticipate: Steel Hunters. This fresh release is accessible on PC through Steam Early Access, and it’s the latest project from Wargaming, best known for World of Tanks. In a post-apocalyptic future, different factions are engaged in fierce battles over Starfall.

It’s quite obvious, they engage in combat using colossal machines known as Hunters, each equipped with distinctive weapons, upgrades, special abilities, and other features. While other players might be your adversaries, there are also battles against computer-controlled enemies and diverse objectives. The early access version will introduce the fundamental gameplay mechanics, maps, Hunters, and progression systems to set the foundation.

During the early access phase, new hunters, maps, gameplay modes, progression systems, user-friendly features, and balance adjustments will be gradually implemented. We anticipate staying in early access for a duration of 4 to 6 months, spending this time refining the game and readying it for a strong official launch. Initially, monetization won’t be an option, but it’s part of our plan for testing purposes at some point later on.

During this period, gamers have the chance to grab the Recompense Battle Pass at no cost until April 29th. You can also choose to elevate it to Pro and Premium levels by simply playing the game. Wargaming has assured us that all progress is permanent, meaning no more resets. Keep an eye out for further updates in the meantime.
