It appears the team at Shift Up has made substantial progress on it, as they’ve now revealed an estimated release window for when we gamers can finally get our hands on the sequel!
For the moment, this announcement about Stellar Blade 2 is as authentic as it gets; there’s no trailer or teaser yet.
Stellar Blade 2 Mentioned in Latest Shift Up Financials Report
The image you see is drawn from Shift Up’s recently published financial report, which mentions that “Stellar Blade’s sequel is expected to launch before 2027, along with Project Witches.” As the project is still in development, no further specifics were disclosed. However, it’s likely we may learn more about this upcoming title later in the year.
As a dedicated enthusiast, I can’t help but be thrilled by the fact that Shift Up has labeled Stellar Blade an “undisputed commercial triumph on a global scale.” It’s truly amazing to see how this game has managed to amass a substantial international fanbase, even though it is primarily a single-player experience. The consistent content updates, reminiscent of live service games, have played a significant role in maintaining and growing this fanbase. I’m excited to see what the future holds for Stellar Blade!
Starting on June 11, Stellar Blade will be playable on PC platforms, and I anticipate a surge in sales due to many players purchasing it for customization purposes. In fact, Shift Up has suggested that the PC version of Stellar Blade could outperform its sales on PS5.
