Stephanie Vaquer Makes WWE In-Ring Debut in Mexico: Watch

As a huge wrestling fan, I’m thrilled to witness the debut of the newest WWE signee, Stephanie Vaquer. Her sudden departure from CMLL and New Japan Pro Wrestling left many questions unanswered, but her arrival in WWE was met with great anticipation.

WWE made a visit to Mexico over the weekend for some live events, accompanied by their newest recruit, Stephanie Vaquer. Her entrance into the company was swift and surprising; she informed CMLL and New Japan Pro Wrestling of her departure due to unspecified personal reasons. Shortly following this announcement, WWE revealed on social media that Vaquer would be making her debut at these weekend’s shows. It remains uncertain if she will make her first in-ring appearance for WWE during this time.

Last night, as I approached the ring, the air was filled with the beats of Def Rebel’s tune – or so I assume it was my theme song. Facing me was Isla Dawn from the Unholy Union. Based on the numerous clips that flooded social media, it appears that I managed to captivate the live audience. A fan expressed their excitement on Twitter, “@Steph_Vaquer radiates an undeniable ‘it’ factor. Her presence and aura leave no doubt in the crowd’s mind – tonight’s show in Mexico City was further proof that I’m destined for greatness within the #WWE.”

In her triumphant moment after securing her initial victory, Vaquer delivered an eloquent speech from the ring: “Good evening, Mexico City, I’m feeling great! Tonight, I’ve come to realize a lifelong aspiration, and it is a privilege for me to join the esteemed ranks of the WWE family.” She continued, “And let me tell you, what better place to make my debut than here in front of my cherished Mexican fans?”

WWE is said to have taken notice of the former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion and CMLL World Women’s Champion after her highly-publicized match against Mercedes Monsted at AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door in late June. Due to CMLL’s contract policy, which grants wrestlers the freedom to pursue bigger opportunities, Vaquer seized the moment and leveraged her newfound momentum to secure a coveted spot on the roster of her long-desired employer.

Damian Priest, currently holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship title, offered words of support and a reassuring handshake to the newcomer during their encounter. In the same event, he successfully defended his title against Jey Uso, ensuring he kept the belt. Upcoming for Priest is a battle against Gunther at SummerSlam, as the victor of this year’s King of the Ring competition was crowned “The Ring General”.
