Stranger Things star cast in The Boys season 5 as brand-new Supe

As a seasoned movie buff with over three decades of binge-watching under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming collusion of sci-fi worlds is nothing short of exhilarating! Mason Dye, the charismatic Jason Carver from Stranger Things, stepping into The Boys’ realm is a move as daring as Billy Butcher leaping off a skyscraper without a parachute.

In a fascinating blend of sci-fi universes, the actor who plays a pivotal role in Stranger Things, Mason Dye, is set to appear in The Boys’ upcoming fifth season.

As a passionate movie buff, I’m thrilled to share that the talented actor who brought Jason Carver to life in Stranger Things season 4 is set to make his debut in The Boys’ grand finale on Prime Video. I can hardly contain my excitement as I look forward to seeing him alongside familiar faces like Jack Quaid (Hughie), Karl Urban (Billy Butcher), and Erin Moriarty (Starlight) once more.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share the news: I’ve heard through the grapevine that I’ll be stepping into the role of a fresh Supe – Bombsight! Details about the character are scant at the moment, but Bombsight has made a cameo in ‘The Boys’ before. In season 4, it was hinted that he appeared in The Curse of Fu Manchu, a film produced by Vought International during the 1950s. Can’t wait to see how this unfolds!

Reports suggest that Dye may be featured in the upcoming series, Vought Rising, although Amazon Prime Video has not confirmed this aspect of the casting.

Beyond my stint on Stranger Things, you might also recall me from my appearances as Garrett in Teen Wolf, Tom Galligan in Bosch, and as Rick Kentwood on The Goldbergs – three roles that I’m proud to have brought to life for fellow film enthusiasts like ourselves.

In addition to the newcomer, Dye, another fresh face will appear in The Boys season 5, with Daveed Diggs taking on an enigmatic role.

Additionally, joining the cast of well-known characters in season 5, Jensen Ackles reprises his role as Soldier Boy.

In other words, although Season 5 marks the end for The Boys, the universe isn’t saying goodbye forever. We can look forward to revisiting it through the upcoming show, Gen V, and a newly announced spin-off titled Vought Rising.
