Developer Snapshot Games, in partnership with Arc Games, has unveiled “Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids,” a fresh action strategy game merging third-person combat with real-time strategy mechanics. Set to debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store this spring, the game promises seamless cross-platform playability.
According to Snapshot Games CEO Julian Gollop, it’s clear that gamers really appreciate complex real-time strategy games. However, we’ve noticed that some players prefer games that are simpler to grasp and have more action, as well as being enjoyable for multiplayer sessions. With our new game Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids, we aim to deliver an exciting and approachable real-time strategy experience that can be enjoyed by all players together. We’re thrilled to announce that the demo will be available in just a few days, giving everyone a chance to dive into the action, meet our game’s unique characters, and embark on the heroic journeys that await!
From February 24 to March 3, a demonstration of the game will be accessible on PC through Steam as part of the Steam Next Fest: February 2025 Edition. This demo offers both online and offline cooperative play in its campaign mode, as well as multiplayer combat where players compete against each other. There are four mission levels, two challenge levels, and two maps for player-versus-player competition. Additionally, the game includes a variety of weapons, modifications, collectibles, and base building options to customize your experience.
