As someone who’s been around the fighting game block a few times, let me tell you, the arrival of Terry Bogard in Street Fighter 6 is like a reunion with an old friend I never knew I missed! The Fatal Fury connection adds a delightful twist to this classic Capcom brawler, and I can’t wait to don those familiar costumes that bring back memories from my arcade days.
In the first instance of its four-year DLC plans, Street Fighter 6 has already introduced a character – M. Bison. However, there’s more to come, with three additional characters yet to be unveiled. Interestingly, two of these newcomers will introduce elements from SNK into Capcom, as series mainstays Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui from Fatal Fury are scheduled to join the fighter. With Terry Bogard’s arrival drawing near, Capcom has given a sneak peek at what he will contribute to the arena.
Terry Bogard is obviously not unknown quantity to fans of the fighting genre, but along with the man himself being playable in all his glory, owners of Street Fighter 6’s Fighting Pass can also expect additional content themed after Fatal Fury, including costumes (including some rather recognizable ones inspired by classics), gear, New Challenger screen effects, stickers, music, banners, emotes, and more. You can find “Street Fighter 6” on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and personal computers. Terry Bogard is set to join the game’s lineup towards the end of this month, specifically on September 24th.
