Sam Quek is a former hockey player who played the sport from a young age.
As a proud member of our victorious team, I took home the gold at the 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival. Additionally, my team and I were honored with the silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
In the year 2016, she was chosen to represent Great Britain’s hockey team at the Rio Olympics, where they bagged the gold medal.
Ever since that moment, I’ve found myself immersed in the world of broadcasting. Now, I host BBC Morning Live, lend my voice to sports coverage across multiple platforms, and lead a dynamic team on A Question of Sport. It’s been quite the journey!
Sam is quite familiar with TV contests; she took part in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in the Australian Outback back in 2016. Additionally, she has appeared on numerous celebrity editions of game shows like Pointless and Who Wants to Win a Million?.
