News about him leaving the show surfaced not long after the dancer refuted claims of “inappropriate or intimidating actions” toward past dance partners, which followed whispers that the BBC initiated a probe after allegations from previous contestants were made.

As a seasoned dance enthusiast with a passion for ballroom and Latin dancing, I have been following the news about the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing season with great anticipation. However, I was surprised and a little disappointed to learn that Graziano Di Prima will not be returning this year. Having seen him grace the dance floor in previous seasons, I must admit that his energy, charisma, and skill were truly captivating. His experience as a professional dancer, combined with his genuine connection with his celebrity partners, made for some of the most memorable routines on the show. It’s a shame to see him leave the lineup, but I understand that life and careers can take unexpected turns. Here’s hoping that he will be back in the future to continue sharing his talents with us all.

After leaving, Di Prima expressed remorse for the circumstances leading to his departure, acknowledging that his “fervent zeal and drive to succeed” might have impacted his “discipline in training.”
In 2023, Zara McDermott, who worked alongside Di Prima on Strictly Come Dancing, issued a statement expressing: “A large portion of my Strictly journey surpassed all my dreams. The entire team behind the scenes and everyone associated with the show were exceptional to collaborate with. My fellow contestants were simply delightful to work beside.”

Where is Strictly Come Dancing filmed?
Strictly Come Dancing is currently taped at Elstree Studios, located in Borehamwood. It’s worth noting that the show didn’t start out filming there all the time.
From 2013 onwards, Strictly has been filmed at Elstree, having previously been shot at BBC Television Studio, Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, and Wembley Arena from 2011 to 2012, with the permanent move to Elstree taking place in 2013.

It’s certainly our hope that it is the case, but Blackpool Week has indeed played a significant role in Strictly Come Dancing ever since the series first began.
During that well-known week, Strictly temporarily shifts from its regular location in London to Blackpool, offering the celebrities along with their professional counterparts an opportunity to perform dances within the Blackpool Tower.
