As a film enthusiast who has spent countless hours immersed in the world of cinema, I must say that the performance by Chris McCausland on Strictly Come Dancing this week was nothing short of cinematic magic. His Salsa, performed with grace and precision, is a testament to his resilience, determination, and unwavering spirit.
Funny man Chris McCausland leaves spectators amazed with his acts on Strictly Come Dancing, as his Salsa dance alongside partner Dianne Buswell this week was deemed “deeply inspiring”.
This week, McCausland, who is visually impaired, danced an impressive Salsa to the tune of “Down Under” by Men at Work. His routine showcased some truly remarkable lifts.
Shirley Ballas expressed being “deeply moved” by the dance, leaving her momentarily without words, whereas Anton Du Beke acknowledged that Chris’s step might have been a tad “awkward”, but nevertheless considered it as “one of the most extraordinary moments I’ve witnessed throughout my entire career.
Chris earned a total of 30 points. Craig Revel Horwood gave him six points, while the other judges each awarded eight.
I couldn’t help but join the chorus of admiration on our revamped platform, often referred to as X, as Chris delivered an outstanding performance that left me and many others speechless.
One fan said Chris was “truly inspirational”, while another said their “goal for this season is to get through one of their dances without crying”. “He’s amazing!!”
During her conversation, Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley exclaimed: “Amazing, amazing, amazing! I’m here, both cheering and tearing up for #chrismccausland and @diannebuswell. This moment has undeniably made my night… I can’t help but adore this pairing even more!
