Stumble Guys Finally Gets Nintendo Switch Release Date

As a seasoned gamer with memories of playing iconic games like Pac-Man and Tetris etched into my gaming DNA, I can hardly contain my excitement for the arrival of Stumble Guys on Nintendo Switch! After years of enjoying this chaotic battle royale game on mobile devices and consoles, it’s finally time for the Switch community to join in on the fun.

Following its announcement back in February, the much-anticipated game “Stumble Guys” now has a confirmed release date on Nintendo Switch: August 20th. Just like on other platforms, it will be free-to-play. For those eager to grab some special perks beforehand, a Founder’s Pack is up for pre-order on the eShop at $9.99. This package comes with an “Oh Yeah Victory Animation,” a “Hi Sp33d P0rtia” skin, and 2,000 Gems. Gems serve as in-game currency that can be spent on extra skins, cosmetics, or a Stumble Pass. Yet, these extras are entirely optional, so newcomers can dive right into the action without needing anything extra!

Below, you’ll find a trailer for Stumble Guys on the Nintendo Switch. For more details about the game, head over to its official eShop page, conveniently located here.

Initially, “Stumble Guys” was introduced on mobile devices, then transitioned to consoles this year, starting with Xbox and subsequently PlayStation. The Nintendo Switch is the final console to receive the game, and we hope the wait has been worth it! This online multiplayer game involves 32 players vying for victory, with most competitions consisting of three rounds (although some modes may differ). Most maps involve a race to the finish line, but other modes offer variations, such as Block Dash and Laser Tracer. In a partnership with Nerf, the game has even introduced a limited-time first-person shooter mode! The Xbox version incorporated local multiplayer this year, but it’s uncertain if that feature will be available on Switch as well.

Over the course of its existence, Stumble Guys has teamed up with numerous other titles and franchises, such as Pac-Man, Tetris, Fallout, Dungeons & Dragons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and My Hero Academia. It remains unclear if these collaborations will be accessible on the Switch version; however, Scopely has reintroduced some of them on console platforms, allowing fresh players to enjoy this unique content for the first time. For instance, Pac-Man collaboration content was recently released on Xbox consoles, featuring a map modeled after the original Namco arcade game. With the Switch version of Stumble Guys coming soon, we can expect more updates very shortly!
