This could potentially signal an upcoming announcement. Maybe a trailer unveiled at Gamescom Opening Night Live in the coming month, preceded by early access information? Only time will reveal the truth.
It’s unofficially announced that Subnautica 2 is highly anticipated for PC release. Although classified as a “games-as-a-service” title by publisher Krafton, there won’t be any season passes or battle passes. Instead, all post-launch updates will be provided free of charge. Co-op play for up to four players is confirmed, but it’s an optional feature.
