As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt and countless hours spent in the dark, gritty world of Gotham City, I can confidently say that Rocksteady’s latest update for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has me absolutely buzzing! The Elseworlds-inspired Gotham City is a nostalgic delight, and the addition of Zoey Lawton, aka Lawless, to the roster is a welcome change.
In the latest installment of Rocksteady’s “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice,” now accessible, the squad persists in their fight against Brainiac. This round takes them to an alternate reality modeled after Gotham City from the Batman: Arkham universe. A new character, Zoey Lawton, also known as Lawless, has been added to the roster; learn more about her past and personality below.
Regrettably, there’s no interactive gameplay to be found, but a detailed plan outlines both existing and forthcoming seasonal content. At the moment, the episode presents an Infamy set modeled after Catwoman, along with Notorious weapons reminiscent of the Ratcatcher, Psycho Pirate, and Doctor Phosphorous. Additionally, it includes a new Elseworlds Mayhem map and a Brainiac battle between Green Lantern and Superman featuring Superman.
In the upcoming episode, scheduled during the season, we’ll introduce Redux editions of the Gotham Infamy sets along with a fresh Notorious Riddler weapon. Additionally, expect new Incursions and a battle against Superman’s Brainiac. Of course, there will be numerous new items available for purchase in the store.
The game titled “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” is now playable on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Currently, they are committed to delivering all the content previously announced. However, Rocksteady and WB Games have not yet confirmed any further support following this launch. Keep an eye out for future updates in the meantime.
