Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Won’t Receive Any More Content After Season 4

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I’ve seen many games come and go, some leaving lasting impacts, others fading into obscurity. The news about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is bittersweet for me. On one hand, I’m excited to dive back into the game when Season 4 drops next month, with Deathstroke joining the roster. But on the other, knowing that it’s the last hurrah for this title is a tad disheartening.

Despite persistent whispers of declining support and underwhelming sales figures, Rocksteady Studios has officially announced that no further content will be added to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League beyond Season 4. The final season commences on December 10th with Episode 7, introducing Deathstroke into the game’s roster, and concludes on January 14th, 2025, with Episode 8 marking its end.

The game can still be played online, featuring all the seasons’ content released so far. You can also buy it later on. Importantly, DC Games Support’s official FAQ does not provide information about any new content beyond Season 4 or whether adjustments like balance updates, fixes, or modifications will be made in the future.

The game, LutherCoin and its in-game store will still function following the launch of the new season, but there’s no word on how long the title will remain playable. It appears that this is essentially the end of Rocksteady’s looter shooter, as it contributed to a 41 percent drop in revenue for Warner Bros. Discovery.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
