As a gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can say that the news of the upcoming release of Suikoden 1 and 2 HD Remaster has filled me with a mix of excitement and relief. I remember spending countless hours on these games back in the day, and the thought of revisiting them with updated graphics and new features is simply thrilling. The ability to speed up battles by 2x or 4x will undoubtedly save me from having to pull all-nighters just to progress through the game. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t appreciate an auto battle option for a bit of grinding ease?
The long-awaited HD Remaster of Suikoden 1 and 2 has taken much longer than anticipated, leaving fans anxious for updates from Konami. However, during the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, there was some good news: the remastered RPG pair has reappeared, with Konami announcing a new launch date.
The HD Remastered versions of Suikoden 1 and 2, titled “Gate Rune” and “Dunan Unification Wars,” are set to release on March 6th of next year. A fresh trailer has been unveiled, offering glimpses of gameplay scenes while also highlighting upcoming features like doubling or quadrupling the battle speed, as well as an auto-battle option to streamline grinding sessions. Starting next March, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be diving back into the world of Suikoden with the HD Remaster of Suikoden 1 and 2: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars! This epic adventure will be playable on a variety of platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
