Suits Star Gabriel Macht and Family Make Shocking Move Out of the U.S.!

Gabriel Macht didn’t settle when it came to his family’s relocation.

The former star of “Suits” has disclosed that he along with his spouse Jacinda Barrett, as well as their teenage daughter Satine (aged 17) and son Luca (aged 10), have relocated outside of the United States.

The 53-year-old shared with People in a January 27th interview that they prefer to keep their residence private, saying “I don’t reveal my address to anyone.” They added, “I moved away from my old life and I’m currently traveling the world with no fixed abode.

Gabriel, who acted alongside Meghan Markle and Patrick J. Adams on the series ‘Suits’ for a span of 9 seasons until its conclusion in 2019, believed that the show’s ending marked an opportune moment for him to move on.

In the midst of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself, like many others, temporarily rooted in Manhattan. Yet, this unexpected stint made me realize that the vibrant energy of New York City no longer resonated with my lifestyle and aspirations.

Having made up our minds to embark on a global adventure, we took our leave,” the Pearson star mentioned. “Being born in Los Angeles and spending numerous years in New York, I have spent roughly equal parts of my life on the East Coast and the West Coast.

Meanwhile, Gabriel stepped away from America and temporarily stopped acting. But don’t worry, fans won’t have to wait long to see him again on their screens, as he has returned to his role as Harvey Spector in the upcoming Suits spin-off series titled Suits: LA.

Despite abandoning corporate law and relocating to Seattle with his wife Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), Gabriel’s character maintains a belief that there is yet an opportunity for him in the realm of law.

In his interview with TopMob News last November, Gabriel shared that the individual is providing free legal services, often referred to as working ‘pro bono’. He added that this person appears to be committed to serving the community.

The popular talk show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, known as “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” came to an end in 2022 after completing its 19th season, following accusations of a harmful work environment that led to an internal probe, dismissals of several executives, and widespread public criticism.

As a die-hard fanboy, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Ellen DeGeneres, the voice behind Dory in “Finding Nemo,” reemerged into the limelight for her swan song standup performance titled “For Your Approval.” This masterpiece premiered on Netflix in September 2024. In the build-up to this special, she stunned us all by announcing her decision to bid Hollywood adieu forever.

She informed a gathering during her ‘Ellen’s Final Stand…Up’ tour, as reported by SFGate, that this would be the final time they’d see her. After releasing her Netflix special, she plans to retire.

Ever since the rumored election victory of Donald Trump in 2024, Ellen and her beloved partner, Portia de Rossi, have made a surprising move across the pond – settling down in England! I can’t help but feel a twinge of excitement as I follow their journey.

Following stints in productions like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and the 2000’s film “Bring It On”, Eliza disclosed in September 2024 that she had obtained certification in psychedelic-assisted therapy and was continuing her education to become a mental health expert.

She shared with Boston Magazine that she had the opportunity to alter her life’s path, concentrating on self-healing to better assist others in their healing. She felt it was important not to hide this transformation, peace, and passion within her. This calling, this purpose, is undeniably who I am now.

Actress who stars in “Ant-Man and the Wasp” has declared that she will be temporarily stepping away from her acting career, following two decades in the film industry.

In a post on Instagram in June 2024, Evangeline expressed her overwhelming joy and contentment, saying, “I’m living my dream today!” She went on to express her deep gratitude for her blessings. Though turning away from what appears to be the conventional path (wealth and fame) can sometimes feel daunting, she finds that following her life’s purpose fills her with satisfaction instead of fear.

I shouldn’t assume she’s definitely leaving, as she also mentioned, “There’s a possibility I might revisit Hollywood someday, yet here is where I feel at home, for the moment.

Since the Netflix series V-Wars in 2019, an actor from The Vampire Diaries hasn’t taken on a new character. Instead, this father of two (married to Nikki Reed) has focused his efforts on a personal endeavor: combating climate change by enhancing soil quality worldwide.

In an interview with TopMob News in November 2023, Somerhalder explained that approximately four years ago, he temporarily left acting to focus on raising his children, establishing businesses, and releasing the documentaries Kiss the Ground (2020) and its sequel Common Ground. These films emphasize the importance of regenerative farming.

Speaking about the future, he stated, “I envision myself as a rancher and creator of distinguished brands, be it bourbon or my health and wellness company. My commitment to regenerative agriculture and sustainable soil management will also be an integral part of this journey, one that our family has embraced. This is the path I see for my life. So when someone asks ‘Why does it matter?’ The answer lies in who I am and where I’m headed.

In the February 2021 installment of her podcast titled “Empty Inside,” the former iCarly star revealed to guest Anna Faris that she had chosen to step away from acting several years prior. Now, her focus has shifted towards ventures in writing, directing, and hosting, along with managing her podcast.

Jennette openly expressed her regret about her acting roles in the past, stating, “My past performances make me feel ashamed.” In her 2022 memoir titled “I’m Glad My Mom Died“, she elaborated on this sentiment. “I harbor a great deal of resentment towards my career,” she admitted. “The roles I played left me feeling empty and cheesy, even embarrassing. From the age of 13 to 21, I worked on shows that I later found myself ashamed of. By the time I was 15, I already felt embarrassed.” She continued, explaining that her peers at that age did not share in the excitement about her Nickelodeon shows, instead finding it an embarrassment.

Although she hasn’t entirely ruled out acting again, her recent book-writing experience has led her to believe there might be a unique approach to acting that could bypass the heavy baggage she carried for years. She expressed this thought during an interview with TopMob News in October 2022, adding that perhaps writing something tailored for herself could offer an opportunity to revisit acting in a new light.

This seemed like an obvious choice. If we had the chance to wed Prince Harry, devote our life to charitable work that truly resonates with us, and access the Queen’s magnificent tiara collection, saying goodbye to Hollywood might not seem so bad.

After following in the footsteps of Grace Kelly by moving from Hollywood to Monaco’s Palace, Meghan Markle gave up her home in Toronto and her prominent role on Suits for a life within The Firm. However, with Harry stepping down from their senior roles, she is gradually re-entering the professional world through business ventures like their multi-year production agreement with Netflix.

Ever since I set foot on the silver screen back in 1994, with my iconic role in “The Mask”, I’ve been a relentless worker bee, churning out over 40 films. By the time we wrapped up “Annie” in 2014, it felt like an overdue vacation for this die-hard film enthusiast.

In a heart-to-heart conversation with dear Gwyneth Paltrow, I shared my recent realization that I desired different experiences in life. For years, I’ve been giving my all, juggling work, filmmaking, and it’s become an exhausting treadmill. When you’re engrossed in a movie project—it’s a convenient mask—they claim you completely. You’re there for 12 hours daily, for months on end, with no room for anything else.

Apart from delving deeper into wellness ventures (having published her 2013 New York Times best-seller The Body Book followed by The Longevity Book in 2016), and building a family with husband Benji Madden, there was still much more she wished to explore. However, as she shared with InStyle in 2019, “I don’t miss performing,” she expressed her current focus on wellness. Yet, it seems that an exceptional circumstance might tempt her for a comeback performance.

In an interview with TopMob News, Jamie Foxx humbly requested and expressed enthusiasm towards getting Cameron Diaz for their upcoming Netflix movie “Back in Action”. He shared, “We’ve longed for her presence, we’ve waited patiently and I believe this collaboration is going to be extraordinary.

As a devoted fan, I can share that the actor firmly declared he wouldn’t perform an encore following his five-year stint on Empire. In an interview with Extra before the musical drama series’ sixth and final season in 2019, this Oscar nominee expressed his feelings about his future, saying, “I’ve moved on from acting. I’m done with the façade.

Although he came back for a few roles, he declared his intentions to retire from acting during interviews for his Peacock series “The Best Man: The Final Chapters” in 2022. He expressed this to ET by saying, “I’ve reached a stage where I’ve given the best performance I can as an actor. Now I prefer to observe and appreciate the fresh talent emerging, rather than imitating myself.”

Regardless of previous criticisms, it’s worth noting that Howard has made a comeback, appearing in various projects such as the TV series “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist” and the Netflix film “Shirley”. Furthermore, there are several more projects scheduled for him in the time to come.

After King Joffrey’s unexpected, purple-hued demise in 2014, at the tender age of 21, I decided it was time for me to step away from the acting world. As a child actor on Game of Thrones since the age of 8, I had grown tired of the craft that once brought me so much joy. “I simply stopped finding it as fulfilling as I once did,” I shared with Entertainment Weekly.

Initially, acting was more of a pastime and a source of enjoyment with friends or during summer breaks. However, now that he’s considering it as a career, the charm seems to have faded a bit. He went on to say, “Previously, it was something I did for fun, but now there’s the possibility of making a living from it. This shift in perspective has altered my connection with it. It’s not that I dislike it; it’s simply not what I aspire to do.

Six years later, he decided it was time to return to his role, and in 2020, he re-joined the cast of the BBC’s show titled “Out of Her Mind”.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: Back in 1989, when Jennifer Aniston, the dream girl from “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” tied the knot with esteemed actor Kevin Kline, they devised a unique strategy to balance their careers and family life. They decided to take turns in their work schedules, ensuring that one of them was always available for their children, Owen and Greta (now known as Frankie Cosmos in her singing career).

Nevertheless, he added, “whenever it’s been Phoebe’s turn to work, she has opted to stay with the kids.” Despite a brief appearance in Jennifer Jason Leigh’s 2001 independent film titled The Anniversary Party, Cates primarily spends her time managing her New York City store, Blue Tree.

During the peak of his popularity with “Ghostbusters” and “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,” the ’80s actor reduced his involvement in filmmaking shortly after his wife’s death from breast cancer in 1991, devoting more time to raising his children Rachel and Mitchell.

Despite not taking on a live-action role since 1997 and turning down a cameo in Paul Feig’s 2016 Ghostbusters remake, his status as a beloved cultural figure has remained unchanged, as demonstrated by the public outcry following reports of an alleged assault while walking in New York City on October 1.

It’s great news for enthusiasts that he will be back, joining forces with Josh Gad, in the upcoming Disney remake of “Shrunk”.

After marrying fashion designer Adam Kimmel in 2010, the star of “Never Been Kissed” seemed to suggest that she might be moving away from acting. In an interview with Vogue, she expressed her reservations about the high volume of sexually explicit scenes in acting roles: “Ninety percent of acting jobs require a lot of intimate moments with other people, and I’m not interested in doing that.” She further explained, “It’s like playing with a strange fire, and our relationship is robust enough to handle it. But if you’re going to walk through fire, there needs to be something truly remarkable waiting on the other side.

Her resolve became firm when her son Martin joined her older daughter Louisanna in 2014. In a conversation with Us Weekly at a 2016 event, she expressed, “I no longer engage in film-related activities; I am entirely out of that world! I… am merely a mother and an outsider.” She explained that she assists Kimmel with his business ventures and indulges in painting as a hobby. “I am solely focused on my children,” she added, stating that this is the main reason for her decision to stop working in films.

She had previously watched shows like Ally McBeal, Nip/Tuck, Arrested Development, and Scandal. When the Australian woman eventually concluded that perhaps it was time for a change, she decided to make a move.

She shared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show in 2018 that she was nearing 45 and found herself questioning if there was something new and difficult she could take on. “I had a good idea of what acting would entail for the next decade or two, so I chose to step away and start a business instead.

She still had one piece left to complete for her ongoing consumer art venture, General Public.

I reached out to Mitch Hurwitz, the mastermind behind “Arrested Development,” explaining that if there is a fifth season, I won’t participate due to my decision to stop acting. He seemed empathetic, fully grasping the situation, and we had an enjoyable chat. Later on, he incorporated me into five episodes of the show.

After earning three Academy Awards, one might wonder what significant achievements are left to pursue. Shortly following his sixth Oscar nomination for his last movie, “Phantom Thread” in 2017, the actor’s team announced that he would no longer be taking on acting roles. He expressed deep gratitude towards all of his collaborators and fans over the years. This decision is personal, and neither he nor his representatives will provide any additional comments about it.

However, when he believed his acting journey had concluded, his son drew him back into the fold. In October 2024, production company Focus Features declared that the Academy Award winner would star in “Anemone“, a film he co-wrote with his son, Ronan Day-Lewis, who will also direct this project.

In 2018, the actress who starred in “Good Luck Charlie” decided to step away from the limelight and instead focus on her education. She completed a master’s degree at MIT and later, a PhD from the same institution. Currently, she is also studying towards a law degree at Harvard Law School.

Beyond my wildest dreams, not only has Bridgit amazed me with her groundbreaking work, but she’s also taken the reins as CEO of Northwood Space – a startup she herself founded! This innovative company is dedicated to constructing ground satellite stations for data exchange in space. I can hardly wait until February 2023 when this extraordinary venture will officially take flight!
