It’s not summer without a little love triangle drama. 

The long-awaited trailer for season three of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” was released on April 24, and it’s evident that the intricate love triangle involving Belly Conklin (portrayed by Lola Tung), Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno), and Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney) will take center stage in the upcoming conclusion.

To clarify, the trailer offered a sneak peek into a crucial scene from Jenny Han’s third book in the trilogy titled “We’ll Always Have Summer.” In this scene, characters Belly and Conrad unexpectedly encounter each other at the Cousins beach house during Christmas vacation. The twist is that they spend the entire night together without informing Jeremiah, a character who Belly begins dating at the conclusion of the second novel in the series.

In the video, Belly, whose face is smeared with chocolate from indulging in holiday sweets, unexpectedly opens the door at Cousins’ beach house. Meanwhile, Conrad, munching on a candy cane, shows equal astonishment upon seeing his ex-girlfriend standing there. He momentarily freezes before responding casually with a “Hey.

However, just because Jeremiah wasn’t the main focus doesn’t mean he didn’t have his own shining moments in the trailer too. In fact, the video starts off with a series of short scenes that highlight the youngest Fisher sibling and Belly sharing affectionate moments like kissing, dancing, and spending time together in a pool.

In a captivating manner, another individual illuminates the entire scene during the trailer? Taylor Swift, who lent her melodies “Daylight” and “Red” to the passionate video.

In the upcoming final season, airing on Amazon Prime July 16 with a total of 11 episodes, fans can look forward to the Christmas flashback from the third book. However, as a heads-up, Jenny has mentioned that certain elements of the show may not align perfectly with the books this time around.

The author explained to Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview that some facts are known by fans, while others they believe they understand. However, there will likely be unexpected revelations as well.
