Contrary to its name, this location has transformed into something much more than a hidden sanctuary over time. Essentially, it serves as Superman’s personal office, where he handles his superhero responsibilities. In this role, it also functions as an archive, a museum, and even a mini-zoo. Furthermore, it has grown to be a well-known, Superman-supported collaborative space, offering access to select superheroes like Supergirl, who carry out their private affairs away from public attention.

Instead, the Secret Citadel symbolized Superman’s attempt to build a sanctuary – a peaceful haven where he could unwind, enjoy leisure time, and explore his personal passions, free from the continuous observation that came with being Earth-Two’s protector.
