As a devoted fan of Supernatural for over two decades now, I’ve witnessed the incredible journey of Sam and Dean Winchester through thick and thin. The show’s ending in 2020 left a void that has yet to be filled, but with Jared Padalecki expressing his eagerness for a reboot, my heart skips a beat with anticipation.
The release of the Supernatural Little People Collector set is a delightful reminder of the series’ enduring legacy and the cherished bond between Sam and Dean. The 2.5-inch figures and collector’s box filled with Easter eggs are a perfect addition to any fan’s collection, especially as we approach the show’s 20th anniversary.
If given the opportunity to revisit these characters and their world in a more condensed format, I believe it would be an ideal way for Jared and Jensen to reprise their iconic roles without committing to another lengthy run. I eagerly await further updates on this potential reboot and can’t help but wonder if the boys will once again grace our screens with their presence in the near future.
To top it all off, let me share a little joke that comes to mind: I suppose they could call it “Supernatural: The Gilmore Grown-ups” – Sam and Dean are definitely not kids anymore!
After concluding its remarkable journey on The CW in 2020, it’s been five years since Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles portrayed Sam and Dean Winchester together on screen. With enough time having passed, Padalecki is optimistic about a potential reboot. Although the timing remains uncertain, a comeback seems inevitable at some point. Meanwhile, Supernatural merchandise continues to thrive, with the latest addition being the Little People Collector set from Fisher-Price, launched to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series.
This collection comes with miniature 2.5-inch figures of Dean and Sam Winchester (chibi style), as well as the angel Castiel, all enclosed in a collector’s box brimming with Easter eggs for enthusiasts. You can pre-order this set now at Entertainment Earth for $18.99, with an expected release date in January. It’s possible that these figures will be available on Amazon at a later time.

Jared Padalecki Gives His Thoughts on a Supernatural Reboot
Jared Padalecki expressed his desire for a reboot of “Supernatural” during an interview with Tommy DiDario on his podcast, “I’ve Never Said This Before.” He stated that he doesn’t wish to continue the series for another 15 or even 5 years, but rather, he is eager to revisit the show in a new light, similar to the “Gilmore Girls” reboot. Padalecki suggested four one-and-a-half-hour episodes that could be filmed within three months. He mentioned that both he and his co-star, Jensen Ackles, had expressed their interest in returning to the characters and the world of “Supernatural” as early as 2020, which would make the potential reboot occur next year. They have continued to discuss this idea often, and Padalecki is confident that he will once again don the flannel and play Sam Winchester.
