Katurah Topps and Sabiyah Broderick’s hearts have spoken.

The former contestants from Survivor season 45 have officially become a couple. They confirmed their relationship on Instagram on June 22, having previously competed against each other in the year 2023.

In the reality show “Survivor,” we faced challenges related to making fire. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to create it, and she went a whole week without it. However, our unwavering partnership is like a flame that refuses to be extinguished. It’s only now that this bond has ignited and become the fire that burns brightly on its own.

Katurah and Sabiyah developed a strong connection during their time on the reality show, even though they belonged to separate teams. This bond persisted beyond the competition; it started when Sabiyah left on the seventh day, and Katurah departed on the 25th day. Eventually, this friendship evolved into a romantic relationship.

In an interview with Out Magazine published on June 22nd, Katurah, aged 36, and Sabiyah, aged 29, shared that they began to notice their friendship, which was characterized by daily conversations and a strong bond, was evolving into something deeper around August 2024. They decided to casually explore these feelings. However, by January of the same year, they recognized the need to formalize their relationship.

Following Sabiyah’s proposal for them to become a couple on January 20th, Katurah explained the profound significance of publicly declaring their romance to the two of them.

She mentioned that our six-month relationship milestone fell on June 20th, and since it’s also Pride Month, we’ve taken the time to strengthen our bond first. Now, feeling confident in our relationship, we’re excited to openly express our love to everyone.
