Following numerous whispers and speculations, it’s officially confirmed that Nintendo will be unveiling their next-generation console, tentatively known as the Switch 2. The gaming community eagerly anticipates more details to surface within the coming months.

Anticipation often builds when a new gaming console is about to debut, as it typically generates plenty of speculation and leaked information. Notably, a source known as NateDrake, or Nate the Hate, predicted the device would be unveiled on January 16th, 2025, with a trailer emphasizing hardware details rather than specific games – and that’s precisely what occurred.

Given that NateDrake successfully leaked accurate information, it’s evident he’s a trustworthy source, which suggests his recent claims might also be valid.

One piece of gossip is suggesting Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Microsoft Flight Simulator may arrive on PS5 this year. Now that NateDrake’s prediction about Switch 2 has been confirmed, his other statements seem to hold more water – regardless of the fact that Windows Central has backed up this particular rumor.

There’s a story going around saying Halo and Microsoft Flight Simulator could come to PS5 in 2021. Since NateDrake was correct about Switch 2, his other predictions seem more believable – even though Windows Central has supported this specific rumor.

He’s also recently suggested that Sony’s next State of Play is planned for February.
