According to official announcements, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is currently planned for release on Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC. However, a recent rating for the RPG points towards a potential upcoming release on PlayStation 5 as well.
According to Gematsu’s observation, a new classification has emerged for the game’s title, suggesting it will be available on additional platforms, such as Sony’s current-generation system. The game is scheduled to launch this week on the 5th of June, coinciding with the anticipated release date of the Switch 2.
Initially, Guardians of Azuma was scheduled for release a month ago, but it got postponed so they could work on the Switch 2 edition. We expect the PlayStation 5 version to come out shortly after.
Interestingly, reviews for the action RPG titled “Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma” were published earlier today, and it’s garnering favorable scores all around. In fact, our friends at Nintendo Life awarded it a 9/10 in their comprehensive review. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on for its release on PS5.
